For the next few days I did my best to avoid Draco. Surprisingly that wasn't so hard, although he was still around me the whole time. If only I could figure out what this guy wants from me. Avoiding the others wasn't so easy though, as much as I tried to keep my distance from them, they were always with me. Was I that interesting, or did those guys had nothing better to do?
''So Mia, I was thinking, you and me should really have a girl night sometime soon, what do you think?''
''Pansy I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but as I remember already telling you once, I don't do girl nights.''
''I know, I know, but still, it could be fun. We can gossip about the guys, and get drunk...''
''Now you're tempting me'' I smirked. As much as I didn't want to hang out with her, or anyone, I was never a girl to refuse a drink.
''Then tonight it is!'' she smiled satisfied as she parted to go to Transfiguration, while I went to Charms with Theo, Draco and Blaise. But a surprise faced me on my way there. Oliver. I don't know why but he kept avoiding me for the past few days. Did I do something wrong? Well, Mia DuPont is not the type of girl who wonders, she finds out.
''Oliver! Hold on a second!'' I called him, and quickly walked up to him.
''Mia...hey. How are you?''
''Wonderful. Listen... are you for some reason avoiding me?''
''Well...yeah...you know...'' he replied looking a bit embarrassed.
''Why? I mean, did I do something or? I thought we were okay.''
''We are okay, it's just that...well, since the Hogsmeade trip, I realized it would be best if we didn't hang out much.''
''Hogsmeade trip? What does that have to do with anything?''
''Don't you remember?''
''To be honest not really. I kind of passed out that day, and, well, I don't even remember seeing you there. What did I do?'' I asked confused. Oh God.
''Seriously?'' he asked kind of relieved, ''well, you were drunk, we hung out a while, and than Malfoy pulled you away from me while we were...um...kissing...''
''What? We kissed? OMG... I can't believe I don't remember that, I'm so sorry! Wait...Draco pulled me away from you? I don't understand.''
''Yeah, he kind of left you somewhere to wait for him and then Fred and George showed up and brought you to me. We walked a little, sat down, and after a few minutes he came, looking angry, and carried you away. He said something about how I shouldn't come near you, and he repeated that to me the next day, also saying how you wanted nothing to do with me in that way, so I guess I just left you alone.''
''That little...imbecile! I'll kill him!''
''Mia...''
''Unbeliviable. I can't believe he did that. Oliver I had no idea.''
''Yeah, I see that now. So... you do want to hang out with me?''
''Of course I do'' I replied with a smile.
''Good, 'cause I have something to ask you'' he said looking a bit embarrassed again, ''do you maybe...um...want to go on a date with me?''
''Yes, I'd love to.''
''Good. Then I'll pick you up tonight after dinner.''
With that we parted, but not before I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, which really surprised him, but he smiled. I hurried to Charms since I was already almost late, and just my luck, the only available seat was next to Draco. Well, maybe that's a good thing, 'cause the silence that's been going on for days is about to be broken, but not with a topic he expects.
