''Did you pack everything?''
''Yes mom, just like I was packed an hour ago, and two hours ago.''
''There's no need for sarcasm Mia.''
''Your mother's right. Behave nicely'' my father added.
''Oh give me a break, you won't see me 'till Christmas, you'll have plenty of time to rest, we all know you're looking forward to it.''
''Mia!'' both my mother and father shouted, but I ignored them and just walked into the limo. Today I was bitchier than usual, 'cause today I was leaving to Hogwarts. As much as I hate this bloody manor, Draco included, right now I'd do anything to stay here instead of go to that horrible place they call school. Don't get me wrong, I'm not scared that I won't fit in, or that no one will accept me, quite the opposite, I'll fit in perfectly, I just don't want to. I'm smart, funny, sweet, sarcastic, bitchy, arrogant, beautiful, vain and sociable, all at the same time. Strange I know, but that's who I am. And people usually either like me or envy me, and for me both is good.
''Is the little princess mad?'' Draco teased me entering the limo as well.
''Wouldn't you like that?''
''Come on, cheer up, you'll be in Hogwarts soon. Just imagine, for two whole years that will be your home. How would you describe it...ah, right, fabulous.''
''You know what, when we arrive there, why don't you just act like we don't know each other? 'Cause I will shoot myself right now if I have have to deal with you one more minute'' I spatted turning my look away.
''As you wish'' he replied coldly.
You see, me and Mr Draco Malfoy, officially hate each other. We've only spent a week together, and we haven't seen much of one another, but it was still the longest, and the most horrible week of my life. I complained daily to Casey and Gabrielle about him, he just gets on my nerves so much! He's so arrogant, he thinks he's really something special, well, for me he's not. And he better get used to it.
Half an hour later we were at the King Cross platform. ''How do I get to the train, Draco?'' I asked him, not having anyone else to talk to, and I had to get on that train.
''Just follow me'' he replied and started walking to a brick wall.
Two seconds later, he walked straight into the wall, and disappeared. Whoa, this was weird, and so, awful! I mean there was no class whatsoever in getting to this train or school. Horrible. But I followed, and did the same. And really, here I was standing on the platform 9 3/4. ''See you on Christmas Draco'' I told him, turning away, and walking alone into the train. Like I said, I didn't want any more contact with him.
I found an empty compartment and settled in, took my Vogue magazine, sat back and enjoyed the world of latest fashion. I really need to convince daddy to buy me this dress...
''Hey there, you sitting alone?'' a voice disturbed me. A tall, cute looking guy was standing at the door. He had beautiful eyes, and was athletically built, a small but perfect smile on his face.
''Yeah'' I replied, ''you can join if you want.''
''Thanks'' he said and stepped in, taking a seat across from me. ''I'm Oliver Wood.''
''Mia DuPont.''
''What house are you in? I can't place you anywhere.''
''That's because I don't belong to a house yet'' I smiled. This guy seems nice, and is actually really, really cute, so I'll give him a chance. ''I just transfer from Monaco.''
