"As you know, Sir, it has been a few months with the monsters on the surface, but there has been a few issues regarding social interactions. You had mentioned they previously lived in monarchy, correct?"
A man sat with Frisk at a wooden table. The room was secure, with two cameras and probably some microphones somewhere. The young boy calmly folded his hands on the table,
"Yes, that is correct." Frisk commented,
"But, they are all aware of democracy." He added calmly. The man sighed,
"Ah, Alright. I am afraid, though, that I've heard rumors of the monster king attacking humans on the surface, and of him killing children in the past." He added.Frisk frowned,
"I feel it is necessary to acknowledge that he has killed at least one human child in the underground, for the sake of his people and in the intentions of setting his people free. It isn't like the humans committed a genocide against the monsters in 'war' those hundred years ago. He would not kill without reason, and here on the surface — he hasn't attacked a single human. Asgore is a gentle man, in fact, he recently reunited with his human daughter, and wouldn't hurt a fly without intention. I'm sure you've seen him around, he is a florist, and his ex-wife is my caretaker." He informed,
"Have you only brought me here in the intention to gossip? I've heard more rumors than you have, sir, and I can defend them all with reason, but I have better things to do with my time." Frisk said coolly."Frisk, I understand as a boy you were soft spoken, but this isn't the place to avoid discussion." The man replied.
Frisk frowned, his eyebrows furrowed.
He felt bad, to put it simply.
Angry, indifferent,
But his job was simply to not let it show while getting his point across,
If he was good at anything, it was that."And the office space isn't a place to discuss rumors like little schoolgirls, or small talk. If you knew me well, you'd know I am friendly and I love chatting and socializing— but I am very passionate about my job and what I do. I'm sure you know a lot about me, and one many things you should know is that as ambassador, it is my job to settle disputes between monsters and humans and keep the peace. I cannot keep the peace efficiently if you constantly bring me up here without any evidence, or even a proper case to handle. If you do not give me a decent reason to stay, then I am leaving this office." Frisk warned.
It had already been a few hours, considering the building was so far away that it took roughly 2 hours to get there, without traffic. After a few moments of silence, Frisk stood up,
"Good day, Sir."The man was silent for a moment longer, before wondering,
"Do you usually wear ties?" He asked calmly,Frisk looked down,
"Uh— no. No, I suppose I don't. Actually, it was Asgore's daughter that insisted on it." He said calmly,The man nodded,
"Interesting. It looks nice. You don't see people wearing ties too much nowadays. Anyways, have a good day, Frisk." He said.Frisk proceeded to walk out of the room.
The office was a strict area. People rushing with cases and bags, the building silent other than quiet murmuring and the sound of footsteps throughout the halls.
Frisk walked quickly towards the door, and out into the fall air.
Being near the capital, the general area was subject for foreign attack, often.
The trees, the earth of the area,
It was all gone. Hardly any grass grew up here any more,It was overall unpleasant.
Frisk walked to his car and got in, immediately taking out his keys and turning it on.
Just like that, he began to drive off.
He wanted to be home before Toriel, but he knew that, chances are, she was already driving home.
