Awake

A few minutes after I stopped hitting Damon I sat in the floor staring at my father. Stefan walks down," What happened? What did you do?" "Do what? He attacked me", Damon growled. Stefan looks at Damon and gives me a sympathetic look.

Damon speaks up,"All I did was tell him the truth. His wife didn't want him anymore. It's not my fault he couldn't handle it." "Like you've been handling Katherine?", I spoke in a whisper. Damon looks at me, but talks to Stefan, "I'm handling it fine. You know what? Isobel came to me. She found me. And if she's related to Elena, that means she's related to Katherine. Maybe Katherine sent her to me."

"Stop it. You don't have to keep looking", Stefan fought. "Can't be a coincidence Isobel sought me out. Uh-uh. Can't. Damon points to Alaric I'm assuming you'll take care of this." I shake my head putting my face between my knees. I don't have the will to kick his ass right now. Damon gets up and leaves the room. Stefan, exhausted by Damon's actions, sits down next to Father's body with me putting his arm around me for comfort.

Suddenly, Stefan sees Alaric's fingers move. He furrows his brow and leans over Alaric. I watched with confusion evident on my features. Suddenly, Alaric (I'm only going to put father when she talks to him or she is saying her and him...), gasps back to life, panting heavily. He sits up, confused. I crawl over beside him and hug him crying. "Shh, its okay Era I'm okay somehow."

I smile, but it goes away how was he alive. "No, no, no. You must have vampire blood in your system. Somebody slipped it to you", Stefan exclaimed. Alaric flexes his fingers, "No. It's, uh, it's something else." Stefan tilts his head in confusion, "Then how? "Alaric stutters," I, uh..." I look down at the ring on his right hand, "Isobel".

I look at him sending him into a flashback of whenever Isobel said, "If I told you, you'd laugh at me. But promise me that you'll always wear it. It'll protect you from all the things that go bump in the night."

We looked at each other before Alaric spoke, "The ring protected me." Stefan looks shocked, "That's impossible." Father and I spoke over each other, "I know."

I went to Elena's to apologize and crash there. Currently we were talking about today's events. Elena grabs the cell phone that she took from the man that was run over today. Elena opens the phone and finds the last number that was dialed. Before she can change her mind, Elena calls the number and places the phone to her ear. After a few rings, a woman picks up on the other end. "Was there a problem? Did you find her? What's going on?" "Isobel?, we say together Elena's being more questionable while I knew her voice. Isobel hangs up without another word. Elena shuts the phone, looking tearful unlike me who could believe she would do that.

A/N: I'm skipping episodes now, I was writing a recap for some, but it deleted so I going to skip to season 2 near the end. I really want to get to Klaus since I have really good ideas. The recap will be in Era's point of view. (Nicknames come into play a lot more now) I will make a chart so there is no confusion.  

Over the few months I came to Mystic Falls a lot has happened. Jeremy found out about vampires and his girl-friend Anna died. I became best friends with Caroline, Damon, and Jenna. We found out John Gilbert is the man Isobel cheated on my father with. Damon and my Father are drinking buddies. I am okay with that since I forgave Damon.

Katherine showed up again, telling Elena she was it great danger that a man name Klaus was coming after her. He needed her to break a curse. Apparently, he was a bad vampire, one of the first ones, an Original. Katherine smirked at me when no one else was looking. I still couldn't tell you what it was about.

Isobel also came to town. I didn't know what to do when I seen her it was like every wall I built to keep her out broke down. That was until she blew me off to see Elena. I was so angry, sad, confused that I let it get the best of me. It still does as me and Elena aren't as close anymore. One thing about my mother is she was compelled to work this Klaus guy, she apologized to Elena for being such a disappointment.

She turned to me and apologized for every leaving me, she thought about me everyday. I hugged her for at least 5 mins. Then she got a call which told her she was done, she smiled in happiness before ripping of her daylight necklace. She burnt to death, at least my memory of her changed before it happened.

Katherine turned Caroline into a vampire and Tyler is a werewolf. After that Elena and I got kidnapped by someone named Rose and Trevor. I was with Elena at the time so I was just brought along for a snack, to this man Elijah. We met him and he was going to take their offering until he looked at me. He changed his mind I also thought that was weird.

Damon and Stefan saved us and staked Elijah, but turns out you can't stake any original and them stay dead. Elijah came back and was protecting everyone as requested by Elena. We had gotten really close, I would consider him as an older brother. He told me about the Sun and Moon curse being fake. It was a curse that was put on Klaus to make his werewolf side dormant. Yes, you heard me he is a hybrid. When he told me the story he looked at me with an emotion I couldn't read in his eyes. It was almost a pity look I wonder why.

Damon ending up staking Elijah with a dagger that kept him asleep. Even though I was against it, he wasn't going to hurt anyone. Of course it didn't matter what I thought it was all for Elena. My father and Caroline was the only one to tell me they were sorry. Until, Elena learned Klaus was coming here for her. Then she awoke Elijah to make a deal with him he would find a way to save her. End of recap.
