It was the morning after Halloween and there was not a sound to be heard. Because of how shattered everyone was from last night's events, both Zak and Brianna allowed Brock to stay in their bed for the night. This was a one off anyway as they knew that they didn't want this to become a habit.

Once Brock felt like he had had enough sleep, he decided to try and wake his daddy up. "Da-ddy?" He whispered, as he patted his daddy's face gently, hoping he'd wake up. No answer. "Da-ddy?" Brock said a little louder, hoping his daddy would hear him this time. Not a single moment. Brock huffed as he tried to think of several different ways to wake him up until he had an idea. Instead of waking his parents up and asking them whether he can go downstairs, Brock thought that he'd sneak out of their room, all the way down the stairs and eat as much candy as he could before his parents were to wake up.

Brock carefully crawled out of the bed he had shared last night and made his way down the bed in the dark. He could see a small smidge of light coming from the hallway and used this light to guide himself to the bedroom door. Thankfully, the door was slightly ajar so he didn't have to worry about the door making a loud creaking sound as he went to open it.

Once he made it safely out of his parents' bedroom, he crept quietly down the stairs, not wanting to make a sound. He knew which steps made loud creaking sounds so he did his best to avoid stepping heavily on them.

When he finally made his way into the kitchen, he snooped around the room until he found his candy bucket. It was placed up high on the kitchen counter top, obviously put there because both Zak and Brianna knew he wouldn't be able to reach it. But Brock had a cunning plan.

Because of the fact that he was too short to reach the counter top, he decided to grab something that wasn't too heavy. Something he could stand on.

"A-ha!" Brock spoke to himself, as he looked over to the trash can, which was resting in the corner of the room. He attempted to lift the trash can up using all his muscles, however, this appeared to be much more difficult than he thought. Unfortunately, Brock admitted to his defeat and decided to grab the laundry basket which was left on the kitchen table. His mommy must've left it there last night.

Using the laundry basket, Brock carefully stood on top of it, hoping that it wouldn't break or fall, and climbed up onto the counter top. "Yes!" Brock whispered to himself, as he dug into his trick or treat basket and pulled out some Reeces Pieces.

Zak opened his eyes slowly and yawned before stretching. Upon doing this, he remembered that Brock had stayed in their bedroom last night and thought he'd wake him up. However, it wasn't long until he realised that the little boy wasn't there.

He slowly stood up and walked to the bedroom door, which was already wide open. Zak thought to himself for a while before finally concluding that Brock must've gone downstairs, hence all the noise that the TV was making from below.

Zak carefully made his way down the stairs and as he did so, he also noticed a trail of wrappers which seemed to be leading into the kitchen. He followed this trail until it stopped at a pile of candy wrappers in the centre of the kitchen floor. Zak sighed to himself slowly, all he needed was a hyper toddler to be bouncing around the house.

He followed the rest of the wrapper trail until it stopped at the door of the living room. There, laid Brock, stretched out on the sofa devouring yet another candy bar. "Brock?" Zak spoke huskily, his throat was dry as he hadn't had time to go into the kitchen properly to get himself a glass of water. Brock gasped a little. He had gotten caught and knew that he was going to be in trouble.
