I watched as Daphne scraped at a small piece of moss. She rolled it between her paws while her tail flicked leisurely behind her.
" Luna, when will Sol be back?" she glanced at me. " He's been all morning!"
" Daphne, he will be back later." I said patiently from the entrance of the cave.
" But I'm hungry!"
" Please be patient, Daphne." I shook my head at her stubbornness. " She's gotten a lot more stubborn since we took her in..." I thought, recalling the shy pup who stumbled into the cave only a couple of months ago. " She's growing fast." I gazed at her, her fur has grown out now and the colors have become more defined and visible. Her wings have grown large enough to support her weight while she's flying.

I flicked my ears at the sound of crashing from the forest. Sol was running at top speed towards the cave. Behind him, the wolves of Demon Pack and Forest Pack leaped out snapping at his tail. He scrambled up the side of the cliff to where the cave is.
" Luna, Daphne, we're leaving." He panted as soon as his paws were on the ledge. " They've come for us."
" I can see that, Sol." I barked and got to my paws. " Daphne come on." The young wolf leaped to her paws and paddled to join us. " Sol, how exactly did they find you?"
" There's no time to explain, we have to leave." he barked sharply and prepared to take off.
" Wait..." a small black and white head poked over the ledge. " Can I come with you..?" Sol looked at the pup with suspicion in his eye.
" Why?"
" The Packs chasing me as well..." the male pup whispered, " I can be of some help to you, I can hunt and help guard the area you are going to."
" Very well..." Sol growled and took off. I picked the pup up by its scruff and flew off after Sol with Daphne at my side.

I glanced behind me to see the Pack wolves just reaching the ledge. They looked up at us, Father and Uncle stood in front of all the wolves. Fang and Owl stood a tail length away from the mass of wolves, both seemed to express opposite emotions. Fang looked as if he didn't want to loose me again, while Owl looked as if he had just set me free. I flapped my wings twice to gain height. The clouds felt moist against my fur and feathers. I saw something flash past me, a slender arrow shot past me. I glanced behind me to see some of the wolves take human form and begin to shoot arrows. Daphne let out a yelp when a arrow missed her by a millimeter. She flapped harder and flew upwards.
