I paced around my room snapping the rubber band on my wrist while waiting for Jb to show up.
Just breathe. It's just Jb. You guys are going to a park or a movie or something. It's just going to be you two and everything is going to be okay. You can clear your mind of Kai and just enjoy your time with you new...friend?
Are me and Jb friends? We've only known each other a few days. Since Thursday exactly. But he's all I have right now. I'll ask him tonight. To see if he wants to be friends or not.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as I hear a honking from outside and my phone playing my cringey ringtone.
"He-"
"I'm outside. Hurry!"
I was left in shock as I hear the line go dead but listen to Jb's instructions.
I grab my house keys and quickly head downstairs and leave through the front door, shutting the door as quietly as I can as my mom is asleep.
I see Jb's standing outside his car and he looks great.
Holy shit.
"Hey Youngjae." He says walking up to me.
"H-Hey Jb."
"You ready?"
I nod as I'm still at a loss for words at how good Jb looks. And his car. It's so nice. I can't take my eyes off of it it's so beautiful.

I take a glance at my crappy run down car that my father left, as he took the nicer car of the two, and sigh remembering how much it's gonna cost to get all the parts to fix it.
Jb opens the passenger side door for me and I give him a confused glance, "What? Can I not be a good friend?"
He smiles and it sends butterflies all through my stomach. I thank him and get in and start admiring the interior of the car.
"You have such a nice car. I've never seen it in the student parking before." I say as we both buckle our seat belts.
"Yeah, I don't take this car to school. Have you seen how many accidents and possible accidents there are in that parking lot? I just drive my mom's car or walk." He explains.
I nod still amazed by the car, "So where are we going?"
"Well I brought some food from home and also dropped by the gas station the get some junk food and thought we could just go to some park and do whatever really. I-If that's what you want."
I look over at Jb and see him looking all nervous, "That's totally okay with me."
He sends me that cute smile again and he starts his car and we're on our way.
