Youngjae's POV

I'm coming to your place after school today. So meet me at your locker ;) ~JB

I quickly put my phone away before paying attention in class again before getting distracted by someone whispering to me.

"Hi Youngjae." He says.

I look to my left to see the guy I've sat next to all year, but we never really bothered to try and talk to each other, even when we were doing introductions on the first day of school, so why all of a sudden now?

"Hey Jackson." I give him a quick smile.

"I hear you and JB are friends now. That's cool. I've always wanted to be friends with him, but he's way too cool for me." I do a slight nose exhale with a smile on my face before remembering how we almost kissed yesterday.

"He's great. He's been so nice to me for weeks now. He would've had the perfect opportunity to leave by now. But he hasn't." I ramble.

I see Jackson in almost a trance listening to my story, "I can introduce you two together if you want." I shrug.

His eyes light up before nodding his head vigorously, "Yes please!" he practically yells.

"Excuse me Mr. Wang? Would you like to explain to me what you are talking about as you have now interrupted my class?" Mrs. Lee asked while folding her arms.

Jackson looked at me with frantic eyes before coming up with a silly excuse, "Oh, just making a new friend."

"Well this is class time where you learn, making friends is for during lunch time, in between classes, and before and after school. Now will you please pay attention?"

The class is taken aback by our teacher's sudden outburst before Jackson nodded his head and class went on as usual.

"Well Jb is coming to my place in a little bit so do you wanna come over and I can introduce you two?" I ask Jackson as we walk through the neighborhoods.

Jackson looked at me with the look of excitement that a little kid gets when he's about to go on a roller coaster, "Oh my god yes! Please!"

I laugh before we continue some small talk and soon walk up the steps to my house.

"Wow, you have a nice house."

I shrug as it's not that great. It's just a little house. It's better than no house so I mean I can't complain.

I grab us some drinks and lead Jackson to the living room, "Well, while we wait let's get started on homework Mrs. Lee gave us. Especially since she gave you extra for talking in class today. What kind of excuse was that?" I laugh pulling out my binder.

"Hey it wasn't an excuse! We never talked before and I thought about making a new friend. I only have like two." He says taking a huge and loud gulp of his soda.

"Hey well now you have three. And hopefully four-"

I'm interrupted by a knock on the door and my heart feels like it skips a beat. I jump up from the couch and basically run to the door and see the man I've been waiting to see since seventh period.

"Hey sunshine." Jb gives me my favorite smile and I wrap my arms around him and just enjoy the moment.

"Youngjae is that-" Jakson stops mid sentence when he sees the scene right in front of him.

"Youngjae who's this?" Jb asks. You can literally see the jealousy coming out of his mouth. It's actually quite attractive.

"Oh this is Jackson. He's been wanting to meet you and become friends with you." I say grabbing Jackson by the hand, dragging him towards Jb.

"You're honestly really cool. I've been wanting to be friends since like grade 11." Jackson says vigorously shaking Jb's hand.

Jb looks at me with the look of worry in his eyes and I giggle at their encounter.

The three of us start heading towards the living room as Jackson rambles on about some nonsense but it's quite funny.

"How do you know him?" Jb whispers.

"He sits next to me in eighth. He's pretty cool and chill. You just gotta get used to him." I say while looking in his dark brown eyes.

I accidentally tune Jackson out as my mind goes completely blank while looking at Jb's face and noticing all his little facial features.

Damn this man is attractive.

"So what do you guys think?" Jackson yells.

Jb and I just look at each other in confusion as neither of us heard what the talkative man had just said, "Wh-what Jackson?"

Jackson sighs before repeating his statement, "I said, we should all hang out again sometime and maybe I can bring my friends over. They're really cool."

"Oh yeah sure. I'm down. How about you Jb?" I ask looking at the older next to me.

He eyes Jackson before stating his response, "Yeah. Let's do it."

Jackson claps excitedly before grabbing his bag and drink and heading out the door after saying a quick goodbye.

Jb rolls his eyes and I gently slap him, "Be nice. He's a really cool guy."

He just nods his head and wraps his arm around me and pulls me so close to him I'm basically sitting on his lap.

Woah. We've never been this close before.

"So, about that almost kiss we had the other day. You said maybe later. Can later be right now?"

I'm taken back by his question before coming up with a quick comment, "Wow someone is antsy."

"Wait," he says face contorting into a very nervous expression, "So do you want to kiss? I mean I can wait. I really can. Especially since we're not in a relationship, plus I don't know if you want to be in one after what Kai did to you. I don't want to make you do something you don't-"

As soon as I heard Kai's name, I knew I had to kiss the man right in front of me, so I did.

I gently place my lips on his and I instantly felt him relax into the kiss. I set my hands on either side of his face and pull him closer to deepen the kiss. Our lips move at a nice pace, before getting interrupted by Jb pulling away.

I never imagined my first kiss would be this good. Did I do something wrong? Did I gross him out?

"Man you drive me crazy Youngjae."
