I am Jack's fear, and I'm here to tell you that the world isn't black and white, but it's not grey either. The world is red, the world is bloody, and I can allow you to see it in the true form you were always meant to.
Without me you are weak. You have no ability to discern the truth of the world against the dreams that only exist in your small insistently contained heads.
The minute I sink my thoughts into the mind of a spineless drone, they see things for what they truly are: dark and abstruse. Jack knows this now.
That is all you are, a thoughtless, mindless drone. The sentences and actions you have are hardwired into the brains of every human being you have ever come in contact with. None of you are different, you just have different settings, different situations that recite different personal thoughts.
You are here to destroy the planet you were given to rule without hesitation, but that's only until the end.
The typical response of every human is to beg for a second chance, to promise to do better next time.
What if I told you that you've already had chances? That you've already started over a billion times promising that you will do better when it's just the same thing repeating until the day you cease to exist? What if I told you that I was one of those people, except I didn't forget. When you repeat the same life over and over again in different bodies you tend to see the tricks that were played on the fools who didn't take the time to look.
That is why when I grow a new spine the metaphorical claws I use to dig into your brain are long and serrated to rip apart the hopes and dreams that will never reign true.
So now you see. I have one objective in Jack's life, to show him the true meaning in life, or more so the lack of one.
That is my purpose, but please remind me, what's yours?
