Morning wasn't so bad when you woke up in someone's arms, and their warmth was still evident in the blankets around you.

"Dean?"

Dean rolled away, grimacing.

A laugh. Soft. Sweet. Cute. "Dean."

Dean rolled back over, facing the voice. He opened his eyes slowly. Castiel was looking down at him with an endearing expression, propped up on his side, his elbow resting in the pillow beside Dean's. He looked so pretty. His hair was disheveled, eyes full of adoration. He was modestly covered by the sheet, but his chest and half his stomach were exposed. Sunlight spilled over him, a golden glow. Dean swallowed.

"Good morning, Dean." Castiel smiled.

Dean couldn't help but smile back and lean forward to kiss him. "Mornin', Cas." He whispered.

Castiel grinned wider. "You know what today is, right?" He asked as Dean seemed to settle back into his nest of sheets.

Dean cracked open one eye, trying to wake his tired brain.

Castiel rolled his eyes, grabbing Dean's hand resting on his hip. "It's Christmas, Dean! Merry Christmas!" He smiled brightly.

Dean looked up into Castiel's eyes and grinned. "You're so cute when you're excited."

Castiel blushed. "Shut up." He whispered, leaning down to kiss his bleary-eyed boyfriend. Dean reached up to cradle the back of his head. "Now get up!"

Dean groaned. "You're so mean to me."

Castiel smirked. "You didn't have a problem with my orders last night."

Dean chuckled. "It was hot then."

"Would you rather I shower with you when we get back upstairs?"

"Hell yeah."

Castiel pulled Dean out of bed and they walked downstairs side by side. "I love you." He smiled at the freedom he now had to tell Dean that.

Dean looked at him. "I love you too, Cas." He threaded his fingers between Castiel's.

"Took you two crazy kids long enough!" Lucifer shouted excitedly when he saw them appear in the stairwell.

"We enjoy sleep." Dean yawned as he and Castiel sat down on the couch.

Crowley scoffed in Lucifer's lap. "As the little ones say, bitch please. We heard you moaning and groaning like cows all last night."

"Oh, Cas, please, more, Cas!" Gabriel supplied helpfully. His boyfriend snickered.

"I tried to keep him quiet." Castiel shrugged.

Dean glared at him as his ears reddened. "Like you've never done it." He said to Crowley.

"Oh, we do." Lucifer interjected. "We just don't let the entire house hear us."

Dean looked to Castiel for help, wanting this conversation to end.

Castiel pointed at the presents beneath the tree. "Who wants to open the first one?"

Of course, Gabriel shot off the chair's armrest. He snatched a present with his name on it in a way that reminded Dean vaguely of Golem from Lord of the Rings. Not that Dean had ever read those books. Nope.

"Ah, yiss!" Gabriel pumped his arm in the air after tearing off the wrapping. "A new video game!"

Castiel grabbed another present as his parents came downstairs, yawning. "Boys!" Hannah scolded. "You were supposed to wait for everyone to be awake!" She groaned. "Where's Anna?"
