Kate sat there listening in on the conversation between Sam and the people they had just found, Jake, Lily and someone else Sam knew named Ava. Apparently she was missing for 5 months.
"So, we're soldiers in a demon war to bring in the apocalypse?" Jake asked.
"Well, when you put it like that-" Sam was cut off by Jake.
"And we've been picked?" Jake asked.
"Yes." Sam replied.
"Why us?" Jake asked.
"I'm not sure, okay? But look, what I do know-" Sam was cut off again by Ava this time. Kate didn't care for Ava at all.
"Sam, I'm sorry. Psychics and spoon bending is one thing, but demons?" Ava asked.
"Look, I know it sounds crazy but-" Sam was cut off yet again by Jake.
"It doesn't just sound it." Jake scoffed.
Kate stood up from the step she was sitting on.
"Would you all just shut the hell up for a second and let him explain? He's trying to help you. We're trying to help you. He's not lying. Look, we were all gathered here and that means the apocalypse is starting, so we've gotta-" Kate was cut off by Jake which pissed her off to the point where her ability shattered all of the windows around them. She had no idea that it was that strong.
Ava and Lilly screamed while the guys just looked around wide eyed and scared.
"Sorry, that was me." Kate said and Sam sighed at her.
Jake just shook his head and sighed.
"Look, the only thing I've gotta do is stay away from wackjobs, okay? I've heard enough. I'm better off on my own. FYI, so are you." Jake said.
"Hey, Jake! Hold on!" Sam called but Jake ignored him.
Kate sighed and looked at Sam.
"I'm gonna go after him." Sam said.
"I'm coming too." Kate said. Sam nodded to her.
They started walking and saw Jake inside one of the buildings with a demon.
Kate and Sam ran inside and tried to find something to hit it with.
"Get back!" Jake shouted at the demon.
Kate saw an iron bar and picked it up, going in the room and hitting the demon with it. It dissolved into a cloud of black smoke before leaving the schoolroom.
Sam walked up to Jake.
"Just so you know, that was a demon." Sam told him and Jake had a frightened look on his face.

Kaya stayed silent during the drive to the roadhouse. She didn't want to talk, she just wanted to see her sister again.
"Kaya. You gotta talk some time," Dean said but she still didn't say anything. "We're gonna get your sister back. Okay? I promise." Dean sighed and he reached his hand over and held hers. She was surprised but held his back.
"I don't wanna lose my sister." Kaya said, a bit quietly. Dean was happy she started talking.
"You won't, Kaya. I won't let that happen." Dean assured her.
Bobby who was sitting in the back smiled at the two.

As the group walked through the old abandoned town, Kate recognized something. A large bell that sat in front of a building.
"Sam." Kate said and he looked back at her then he pointed to the bell.
"I've seen that bell before. I think I know where we are now. Cold Oak, South Dakota. A town so haunted, every single resident fled." Sam said.
"Swell. Good to know we're somewhere historical." Ava said and she started getting on Kate's last nerve. Kate thought of her as a spoiled little brat who didn't know when to shut up. It's amazing she was even able to get engaged.
"So, why in the world would that demon or whatever put us here?" Lily asked.
"We've been wondering the same thing." Kate replied.
"LILY: You know what? It doesn't matter. Clearly, the only sane thing to do here is get the hell out of Dodge." Lily said.
"Hey, hold on a second," Kate told her. "There's miles of woods that you'd have to get through first and we have no idea what's going on or how many demons are out there right now. So it's best to just stick with the group before you get yourself or someone else killed."
"Yeah, she's right," Jake said and Kate looked to him with a nod as a 'thank you'. "Lily, we should-" Lily cut him off.
"Don't say 'we'! I'm not part of the 'we'! I have nothing to do with any of you!" Lily told them and Kate sighed.
"Okay, Lily, we know-" Kate began but she cut her off.
"You don't know anything," Lily spat at her. There was a bit of a pause before she said anything else. "I accidentally touched my girlfriend."
They all exchanged and glance and Kate looked at her sympathetically.
"I'm sorry." Sam sighed.
"Whatever. I feel like I'm in a nightmare and it just keeps getting worse and worse." Lily said.
"Hey, I can understand that. Okay? I've lost people too. So has Sam. But the best way to get out of this is to stick together. Alright?" Kate asked her and Lily rolled her eyes at her.
"Fine." Lily said.
They all went back to looking through the town.
"We're looking for iron, silver, salt- any kind of weapon." Sam said and Jake scoffed.
"Salt is a weapon?" He asked.
"You learn new things everyday, huh?" Kate asked him with a smirk.
"Well hopefully there's food somewhere because I'm frickin starving!" Andy exclaimed. Kate chuckled at him.

Kaya, Dean, and Bobby pulled up to the roadhouse but the whole place had been burned down.
"What the hell?" Dean questioned.
They all got out and Kaya stayed close to Dean and he held her hand as they searched the place.
"Oh my god." Bobby said.
"You see Ellen?" Dean asked him.
"No. No Ash either." Bobby replied.
Dean let go of Kaya's hand for a second when he noticed Ash's watch on the ground. He went to pick it up and ended up picking up part of Ash too. Kaya covered her mouth.
"Oh, Ash, dammit!" Dean exclaimed.
"Dean.." Kaya said, tears coming to her eyes. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her and hugged her.
"It's okay. It's gonna be okay." Dean told her.
