One Hour Earlier...

Kate sighed and looked at the time.

"They still aren't back.. I wonder if they went back out there? Wait.. without me?! Again?! Dammit, Kaya." Kate growled and grabbed her stuff. She grabbed Kaya's keys and took the car to the haunted road.

She drove down the road and looked for any cars but didn't see any. She called Kaya but she didn't pick up.

"Kaya, where the hell are you guys? I'm out here on the haunted road. Call me back as soon as you get this." Kate said then hung up, leaving Kaya the voice message. She sighed and looked down as she put her phone on the passenger seat and when she looked back up, there was a man standing in the road. She gasped and hit her brakes and ended up going right through the guy.

She got out of the car and looked around but the guy had disappeared. "Shit." Kate breathed.

Kate ran to the back of the car and opened it, seeing all of Kaya's weapons. She checked a couple of them but it didn't have any ammo in it. "Seriously, Kaya?" Kate groaned. Something suddenly grabbed her and through her away from the car. She hit the ground and rolled a bit, hurting her left shoulder from the way she landed. She got back up and the man appeared in front of her but she dodged his attack and ran for the back of the car. She grabbed the first gun she saw which was a pistol.

"This one better be loaded." Kate said.

The man appeared in front of her and she shot him, making him disappear. She quickly went around the car and tried to get in it but all of the doors were locked, and the keys were stuck on the inside.

"Oh, Kaya's gonna kill me." Kate said, her eyes widened. She noticed that it got cold again and her breath swirled in front of her. She turned around and the man was standing there, a furious expression on his face. Kate took off before he could make a move and ran into the forest.

"Well, at least the couple got across the road safely." Kaya sighed. Her phone dinged in the cup holder it was sitting in so she looked at it. She saw that Kate had left her a voice message after she didn't answer earlier from being busy. She put it on speaker and listened to it with Charlie.

"Kaya, where the hell are you guys? I'm out here on the haunted road. Call me back as soon as you get this."

"Crap," Kaya said and immediately called her back but it rang until it got to her voicemail. "Come on, Kate. Pick up." Kaya sighed and tried calling her a couple more times.

"Something doesn't feel right." Charlie said and Kaya looked at him, not wanting to admit it herself.

"Call Dean." Kaya told him as she sped up the car.

Now...

Kaya ran through the forest with Charlie, following the gun shots.

"Kate!!" Kaya yelled.

There was one more gunshot and this time it was closer. Kaya and Charlie ran as fast as they could toward it.

"Katie!!" Charlie shouted.

They got to where Kate was and the ghost guy had her pinned against a tree before something suddenly started happening to her after he touched her. The wounds that he had from his car accident, starting happening to her.

"Kate! No!" Kaya screamed and aimed at the ghost with her gun but for some reason it got jammed.

Kate screamed in agony and then everything moved in slow motion for Kaya and Charlie as they watched Kate die.

Kate looked over at them one last time before she slowly drifted off into darkness. Her body went limp in the ghosts grasp before he dropped her on the ground and turned to Kaya and Charlie.

Charlie shot the ghost and made it disappear. Kaya quickly took that chance to run over to Kate. She picked her up and held onto her.

"Kate? Katie? Come on, Kate! You can't die! You can't! I still need you, Katie! Please!" Kaya yelled as she shook Kate, trying to wake her up but she knew that she was dead. She needed a miracle, anything. She had tears streaming down her face once Charlie put his hand on her shoulder.

"Kaya.. she's gone." Charlie said, sadly.

The ghost came back and grabbed Charlie, throwing him against a tree, knocking him out before he grabbed Kaya and picked her up by her neck. She gripped onto his arm, her feet dangling.

"Please. Don't." Kaya barely got out.

"Joseph!" A woman's voice said.

The ghost, Joseph, looked over, seeing Susan. He immediately dropped Kaya and she gasped for breath and coughed. Dean ran over to her and picked her up, seeing Kate lying on the ground.

"S-Susan." Joseph said.

Susan nodded and walked up to him. He smiled down at her and placed his hand on her face which she leaned into.

"Susan." Joseph repeated, smiling.

"Joseph. It's okay. You can stop now. You can let go." Susan told him, tears in her eyes.

"I love you, Susan." Joseph said.

"I love you too." Susan said before he disappeared and was put to rest.

Sam walked up to her and smiled.

"Go wait by the car. We'll be right there," Sam told her and she nodded, walking off. He turned around, seeing Dean looking down at something. When he walked over, he saw Kate's dead body. "Kate! Oh my god!" Sam got on his knees next to her and picked her up, hugging her close.

"Sammy, she's gone." Dean told him and Kaya was in Dean's arms, crying.

"No! We can still save her!" Sam shouted, tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Sam," Kaya sniffled. "It's too late."
