Chapter Sixteen

Dean pulled up at the edge of some woods and looked over at Bobby and Kaya.

"Looks like the rest of the way is on foot." Bobby said and Kaya sighed.

They got out and went to the back, grabbing weapons. After they finished, Dean closed it up and looked at them.

"Let's go," Dean said. Bobby nodded and started walking off. Dean looked to Kaya. "You gonna be okay?" Kaya nodded to him and cocked her gun.

"Let's go get my sister back from that son of a bitch." Kaya said and Dean smirked at her.

"That's my girl. Alright, let's go." Dean said and took her hand before they caught up to Bobby and ran through the forest.

Kate was standing there looking at Andy's dead body and she sighed, sadly. She really liked Andy. He was so sweet. She looked over and saw Ava's dead body and she didn't feel anything. Not even when Jake snapped her neck. She knew Ava didn't seem right.

"Kate, come on. We've gotta go," Sam said and took her hand before they left the building with Jake. "I think we can make it out of here now."

"But the Acheri demon.." Jake said.

"No, no, no. Ava was summoning it, controlling it. It shouldn't come back now that she's dead. We gotta go." Sam told him.

"Not 'we', Sam. Only one of us is getting out of here. I-I'm sorry." Jake said and Kate's eyes widened.

"What?" Sam asked him.

"I had a vision. That Yellow-Eyed Demon or whatever it was, he talked to me. He told me how it was." Jake explained and then Kate sighed. She had one too but she wasn't stupid. She'd never listen to him.

"No, Jake, you can't listen to him." Sam told him.

"Sam, he's not letting us go. Now, if we don't play along, he'll kill us both. Now, I-I like you, man. I do. But do the math here. What good's it do for both of us to die? Now, I can get out of here. I get close to the demon, I can kill the bastard." Jake said and Kate shook her head.

"No, Jake. You don't understand. We've been hunting things like him since we could walk, you're only just getting into it. Look, we can figure this out. Just come with us." Kate said, trying to reason with him.

"How do I know you two won't turn on me?" Jake asked.

"We won't, Jake." Kate told him.

"I don't know that." Jake said.

Sam sighed and took out his knife and placed it on the ground. Katr just watched him and had a bad feeling like it wasn't a good idea.

"Just come with us, Jake. Don't play into what he wants." Sam said.

Jake sighed and put his weapon down but then he suddenly punched Sam and sent him flying. Kate ran after Sam to help him.

"Sam!" Kate yelled and got down next to him.

Jake was approaching so Kate stood up and got in front of Sam.

"Kate! No! Just run!" Sam yelled.

Jake approached her and went to hit her but she ducked and got out a small knife she had and cut his arm which made him angry. He picked her up with one hand and took the knife from her as she struggled to get out of his grasp, then he stabbed her in the stomach.

"No!!!" Sam yelled.

Jake dropped her to the ground and Kate was lying there with a knife in her.

Kate coughed some and got up to get away. She knew the boys were fighting but she couldn't see what they were doing since she was trying to eat away. She kept walking and she was losing a lot of blood until she finally just collapsed.

"Kate!!"

Kate heard her name being called so she looked up to see Kaya, Dean and Bobby. Kaya ran to her sister.

"Kate! Katie! Look at me!" Kaya said and Kate looked up at her as Kaya laid her head on her lap.

"Kaya." Kate said.

"Yeah. It's me. I'm gonna get you to a hospital and then you're gonna be okay. Alright? But you gotta stay with me." Kaya said.

"I'm losing a lot of blood, Kaya." Kate said.

"You're gonna be okay." Kaya told her.

Kaya looked up and saw Sam smile when he saw Dean.

"Sammy!" Dean grinned.

Suddenly, Jake got up and went up behind Sam, picking up the knife.

"Sam! Sam, look out!" Dean shouted but it was too late. Sam had been stabbed in the back.

Dean ran to Sam and caught him before he fell over.

Kaya watched as Bobby ran after Jake then she turned her attention back to Kate.

"Kaya.." Kate coughed.

"Hey, hey. It's okay." Kaya smiled at her.

"I love you." Kate said before she passed out from the blood loss.

"Kate? Katie? Kate!!" Kaya screamed and started crying over her then she heard Dean doing the same thing with Sam.

"Sammy! Come on, Sam! Stay with me! Please, Sammy. Listen, it's not that bad. You're gonna be okay, alright? We're gonna patch you up and you'll be good as new," Dean said and Bobby came running back. "I'm gonna look after you. That's my job, Sam. I gotta look after my pain the ass brother," Dean said then he looked at Sam's face and noticed him fading quick. "Sammy? Sam? Sam!" Sam's body slumps forward and Dean started crying. "SAM!!!"
