we are the center of everything
every person knows our name
we get what we want,
when we want it
to us, life is a fairytale
where our dreams always come true

truth is, isn't as it seems
not everything ends the way you like
you don't get to pick your story
you don't get to choose your fate
you're stuck with what you're given
things are more complicated then they appear

life is an adventure
full of fear, lies, and tears
there are many mountains to climb
and you only have so much time
there are forks in every road
but be careful which you take

some may knock you down
the choice is yours to get back up
some may break you to tears
but it's up to you to stand up
there aren't many hands held out
so use yours, and make it worthwhile

maybe one day you'll be a princess
the one who gets the prince
and is taken to a castle
to live as "happily ever after"
until that day, it's up to you what you do
it's your life, so do what you wish
