AN: This is a Kakashi/Naruto World fanfic, and I do not own most of the characters! I only own Cyllamari Hana Hatake, the villain, her team members, and the story line.
To those who want everything to be exactly like it was in the manga and anime, I'm sorry but I changed a couple things around. Firstly I will NOT (emphasis on 'not') be following the main story line. Cylla's story doesn't coincide with it, and we will be focusing on totally different villains of my own design. Secondly, I'm sorry but I had to change Kakashi's age around a little. It's just not right for an eleven year old to have a kid. So I switched the time line around a bit and made him older. Lastly; Sasuke did not leave! Since I have the freedom as the author of this book to twist around the plot as much as I wish, I decided Sasuke was better off staying. So, he stayed. Other than that, however, I didn't change much. I hope it doesn't bother you!
I hope you enjoy reading my story just as much as I enjoy writing it. ~OnlyLegendary
The sky was a masterpiece, all shades of orange, yellow, burgundy, and violet. She could see the reflection in the metal toe guards of her worn grey boots, but her gaze remained on the ground in front of her. Shadows cover much of the path in front of her, as the sun slowly sinks beneath the carven mountain that grows nearer with every step she takes.
The renowned village grows closer with every step, but she doesn't so much as glance at it, instead she remains consumed in her own thoughts. She finally looks up when one of the two guards at the gate calls to her, his voice laced with authority.
"Who are you, and what is your business in the Village Hidden in the Leaves?" The guard demands politely, stepping forward, his keen eyes not recognizing the mystery before him. She doesn't answer at first, instead only staring at them, as if they were ghosts. The other of the two men pulls out a little throwing knife the girl knows to be a kunai, and the other asks again, "Speak, or we'll be forced to take you to interrogation! Believe me, you don't want that."
She doesn't respond with words, instead pulling up her hood enough to reveal a mask covering up to her nose, and a leaf shinobi headband directly above her piercing green eyes. She only pulls the hood up far enough to reveal the glinting silver emblem of Konohagakure, not revealing anything above it. She takes a step towards the gate, her glinting eyes staring into the guards' souls. The one holding the kunai shivers.
"And your name?" The other one asked, stepping towards her, and trying to remember which of the many leaf shinobi this was. He didn't see anyone like this leave the village in the past few days. Heck, he should easily remember if someone as strange as this left in the last couple months, but no one comes to mind as he looks at the darkly clad, short figure. She could just be an imposter; the village has many enemies, and though it would be difficult, one of them could've possibly gotten their hands on a leaf shinobi headband, "We can't let you in unless we know you're not a threat. You know this. This would be a lot easier if you just told us your name."
Instead of replying, the girl pulls out a yellow folder. Both men stare at it, confused, before the one holding the kunai steps forward cautiously to inspect it.
"It's a mission file." The man, hunched over to properly read the front of the folder held in the short figure's hands, summarizes. His companion huffs, and warily eyes the stranger, "It's for a mission estimated to take two years, assigned almost three years ago. It's an S-class mission file, and it would be nearly impossible to forge. It has Lord Third's signature of approval on it, too."
"Two years? And S-class, too?" His companion eyes the stranger. That would explain why he didn't recognize her, "The Hokage's signature?"
Both men look at the short figure, having a hard time believing the short mute mystery standing before them was really a nin capable of an S-class mission. The slightly taller one with a bandage on his nose speaks back up, his eyes never leaving the stranger, "Yeah, but all the names on the cover have been censored, and only higher-ups can legally read the file."
