A/N
This is in the perspective of a girl. Who she is I don't know, I didn't really think about it so, enjoy!

Also fun fact! I actually came up with the idea for this story in church. Yeah, church. I thought of a horror story in church. Weird right? Well anyways, enjoy!

I was walking to the local cafe, my favorite place in the whole world when suddenly, I saw a glint out of the corner of my eye. I stopped walking. A bunch of people pushed past me and yelled at me to keep moving or to move out of the way. It was a busy street so, I guess I should have expected this but, I didn't care. I just wanted to find the source of the glint, the shine, that I had seen before. I started to look around, spinning in slow circles just trying to find it's source.

Suddenly, I saw the glint again. It was much closer then it was before. I looked directly at the source of the glint to see a person. He was standing in the middle of the sidewalk a few feet in front of me, staring. Staring directly at me. There is no way the glint came from him, I thought. He wasn't wearing anything shiny or bright, in fact, he was wearing a white button up, fancy black pants, and black dress shoes. He was also holding a black button up over shirt, with his other hand in his pant pocket. I stared at him as he stared at me for what seemed like forever.

Then a glint came from him again. It was coming from his eye, his left eye to be precise. That's when I realized that his eyes were grey with red irises. That's not good. I turned the other way and begin to walk hurriedly. I didn't know who or what, for that matter, he was but, I had a bad feeling. A really horrible, awful feeling in my gut telling me, this man is bad, he will hurt you, run, run.

That is exactly what I intended to do.

I looked behind me to see that he was following me through the crowded street. I started to run, pushing people out of the way. I needed to escape. I needed to escape!

As I continued to run I tried to find a quick way off the street so, I could go in that direction, and hopefully, fool him.

Suddenly I saw an alley a few feet ahead of me. As I got closer I made a quick turn into the alley. I looked down the alley, hoping to find something to hide behind. That's when I noticed the trash can right next to me. It was one of those really big, square trashcans meant for big business and living complexes.

I ran, hide behind it, and crouched. I crouched there for ten minutes, then twenty minutes, then an hour. I looked around the edge of the trash can. No one was in the alley with me.

I looked out into the street to, see people walking down the street. Some in a hurry, other talking, others just taking the light, warm breeze in. I let out a sigh of relief.

I got up from my crouching position and started to walk out of the alley. Only to suddenly be grabbed from behind. One arm around my waist, the other covering my mouth and, holding my head in place. I tried in vain to scream and turn my head to see who it was.

That's when I realized I still had the ability to look upwards so, I looked up to see the face of the red eyed man.

As I stared at him in shock I felt two, cold fingers press gently on my neck. The world started to go blurry, then black.

I felt my eyes flutter shut and my body begin to shut down.
