*2 years later*
TRIS POV
I'm so glad me and four or should I say Tobias are back together! I couldn't be happier. this year is the year I graduate. Tobias graduated two years ago. he got excepted into CFAA (Chicago fine arts academy) I also got excepted but Tobias said he wouldn't go without me. we both sing so we both are going to sing. "Beatrice prior" I cringe and the name because I haven't heard it in so long. I go up and get my diploma and shake the principals hand. I go and sit with Christina who has already got her diploma.
I zone out until the principal say "students move your tassels from the right to the left" we all stand on stage and move our tassels. once everyone has moved theirs we all get our hats and throw them up in the air. me and Christina get our tassels from our hats and walk off the stage. I run up to Tobias and wrap my legs around a his waist and kiss him. we pull back at the same time and we both look at Christina and will who are doing the same. Zeke and Shauna hold hands because they already graduated. Marlene and Uriah are making out in a corner and Lynn is kissing.... my brother?
I knew he got over Susan but when did they start dating? I swing myself onto Tobias back and tell him to look at Lynn. he takes me over to them and jump down from him and tap Caleb's shoulder. "what do you want?" he says "I just wanted to know when y'all started dating!" I say with a smirk and Lynn is as red as a tomato "I don't care y'all are cute! so go back to whatever y'all were doing!" now Caleb's the one who's blushing. me and Tobias are walking back to see my mom while I'm on his back. "hey mom" I say "hi sweetie I'm so proud of you" she says with open arms. I get off his back and hug my mom. "tris?" I hear Tobias say I turn around and see him on one knee. I look at my mom who is smiling so big.
I look back at Tobias. my hands cover my mouth when he starts to speak.
"Beatrice prior. You are the love of my life. I couldn't imagine my life without you" at this point I'm in tears. "we've been dating for two years and I can already tell your the one! so tris, will you marry me?" "yes" is all I manage to say before I run up and hug him. (if you didn't know tris is 19 and Tobias is 21 in this story)
"mom did you know about this?" I ask
"yes I did he came and talked to me about it and I said it would be a honor if he was apart of the family" she says while holding a big life size teddy bear.
"is that for me?" I ask with big eyes "yes it is" I grab it from her and read the note on it. it says "hey baby. I thought you'd like this and it seems you have. I love you forever and always. now turn around." I turn around and see Tobias with a dozen roses and a box of chocolate. there's a note on the roses. 'I will love till the last roses dies' I get scared but then I take another look at the roses there is 11 real ones and 1 fake one. I look at him and he's smiling. "I would never stop loving you." he says.
I smile and run over to Christina who is crying too. "what's wrong Christina?" I ask. she looks at me and shows me the ring. "it's tears of joy and who got you those?" she asks "um to-four did and he also got my this" I hold out my left hand to show her the ring. she squeals and hugs me I tell her to read the note on the roses and she does.
"I swear if he ever hurts you I will kill him" I laugh
"look at the roses again" she looks at them again
"I see nothing wrong with them" I laugh again.
"Chris look at this one" I say pointing to the fake rose
"omg that's fake but I don't get it why would he give you a fake ro- oh wait I get it he gave you a fake rose because he said he'd stop loving you when the last rose dies so that means he'll never stop loving you! awww that's so cute!!"
"you got that right" Tobias says as he wraps his hands around my waist. "did you see chris' hand?" I ask him. he looks at her hand and then looks at will and smirks. "uh oh I know that look" I walk off and tell my mom to hold my stuff. I walk back up to Chris Tobias and will. I look at Chris and mouth 'on three run' she nods 'one... two... three' we start running but Tobias and will catch us. they pick us up and throw us on their shoulders. I kick and scream but it does no good so I rest my elbows on his back and my chin on my hands and frown. he takes me back to my mom she just stands there laughing.
"MOM!" I yell as we walk to tobias' car
"WHAT?" she yells back. I swear sometimes she can act like a total teenager and that's why I love her.
"why are you laughing?" I ask sternly
"I-" is all she says before laughing again
"here honey here's your stuff now go have fun! but not to much fun we don't need little trissy and little fours running around her now would we?" she says while laughing
"MOM!! OMG!!!" I say turning around embarrassed. four comes up and wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my neck. I turn around and hug my mom and tell her to say hey to Taylor for me and that I love her and I'll be home soon.
"hey tris?" Tobias says
"yeah?" I asked
"uh- will you uh... moveinwithme?" he says the last part so fast I almost didn't catch it. I run up and hug him and whisper in his ear "of course Tobias I would love to." we get in his car and drive to his apartment. we talk about CFAA and we decided not to go. we decided that the wedding would be a double wedding with Chris and will. I call Chris and ask her if that's okay and of course she says it is.
