A Loaf of Bread

Imagine being chased by Robin
not knowing it was Jason

Takes place when he's Robin (If you didn't know)

(You are both fifteen)

~~~~~~~~
You were out of breath. You just wanted a solid reason, why were they chasing you? All you did was steal a loaf of bread. You've stolen worse, and the GCPD didn't bother to do crap about it those times, but now that you were starving, they just had to chase you down.
You quickly turned into an alleyway hoping to lose the cops, but today, karma was being a huge bitch. A large gate blocked the other side that you would've hope lead you to your freedom. All you could do was stare...
"Hey, kid," you turned around and looked at the three cops in front of you, "make this easy on us and give us the bread back. The store owner keeps on complaining."
"Yeah," one of them broke in, "we don't want any trouble. Maybe we could even take you to your home."
You glared at the guy and growled through the fabric that covered the bottom part of your face, "My 'home' consists of a water damaged cardboard box and newspaper scraps," you gave them a stern look, "see ya." With a little salute you were gone, quickly climbing the fence and leaping off of it once at the top. Not even bothering to look back, you ran down the alleyway.
Once you were certain you had lost them, you took a breather and walked into a dead-ended alley. Fire escapes lined up on the sides of the walls to the left and right of you, while the one straight ahead of you was blank. Now would be a great opportunity to eat your meal.
"You just love to piss off cops don't you?" you turned around and saw a dark figure standing in the way you had come, cutting off the easiest escape route. Soon the person came into the light, it was Robin, the Boy Wonder.
"Can I just eat my bread I peace?" you huffed out, annoyed at this point.
"I mean I would let you," he admitted, walking closer to you, "but its still theft."
You glared at him sharply, "So? A lot of people steal in Gotham."
He gave you an acknowledging look, "True, and I also know the guy who owns the shop you stole from is an asshole, but it's still not right."
"Even if he is an asshole?" you pressed. You had to think of a way out of here quick. You knew you wouldn't win in a fight against the crimefighter, so outsmarting him would just have to do.
"Look, I know you're only trying to buy time so you could come up with a plan but--" You quickly ran at him at full force, sweeping his legs out from under him then running past him.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the greatest plan in the book. He grabbed onto your ankle and pulled you back, forcing you to roll backward; pushing you away from your escape.
"That wasn't very smart." He chuckled standing up.
"I noticed." you sneered, rubbing your arm. He charged at you, throwing different combos at you, but luckily it nothing you couldn't dodge.
When he finally landed a punch, you knew you were going to have to do more than just evade all his attacks. You threw a punch at his head, not landing it due to a successful block. He took advantage of this, kneeing you in your stomach.
You staggered back a bit, 'Time to play smart'. You ran at him, faking a punch, which he was prepared to block, but luckily you weren't aiming for his face but his stomach. He grunted a bit, but immediately regained focus and got back in the fight, hitting you on the side of the head.
