There was a slight rattle coming from the doorknob before it open. In walked the Batman and his Robin, their suits glistening under the lights that had been beaming on you for hours.

Then there you were, hands cuffed out in front of you, resting on a table, inside one of the many interrogation rooms in the Gotham City Police Department. You slowly rose your head to meet the eyes of the masked vigilantes. "Hello, boys." You spoke with a smirk playing at your lips. They both stood silent, their famous glares staring back at you.

Batman began to slowly move his way to the table before slamming his hands down on the furniture in front of you, "Where is your mother?!." His voice was harsh, some might even say it was venomous.

But all you did was laugh.

Laugh just how your mother would have because something like this was just a goddamn joke in your life. "That was funny, Bats," you wiped away the tears that peaked at the corner of your eyes with your shoulder, "Say it again. I could really use another laugh in a situation such as this one."

He grabbed you by the front of your shirt, pulling you up from the chair you sat in, and bringing you closer to him, his cowl-covered eyes assaulting yours with an even stronger glare. "Where is she?!" He barked through gritted teeth, "I won't ask again!"

A string of laughter escaped from your lips, "Bite. Me."

He let go, pushing you back down into your seat. You chuckled as the Boy Wonder crosses his arms over his chest, "This clown ain't gonna give us the information we need."

"You know he's right," you said as a matter of fact.

"You do know she plans on aiding the Joker in killing a family on live TV?" The Boy Wonder questioned aggressively. You nodded like a child would if their parents had just asked them if they wanted to go out for ice cream.

Batman's jaw tense as he seemed to debate what to try and claw out of you next, suddenly he stopped and pressed two fingers to his ear and turned around, back facing you. After a few moments he turned to Robin and placed a hand on his shoulder, "That was Nightwing, he gots a lead." The boy nodded in understanding as the hero continued, "Do you think you can take it from here?"

Robin waved him off, shrugging the much older man's hand off, "I can take care of myself."

"It's not you I'm worried about," the two vigilantes looked at you.

You smirked and shrugged your shoulder before bitting your lip, "Oh, stop it you two, you're making me blush."

"Do whatever is necessary, Robin, don't let them get out." Batman patted the boy's shoulder on his way out of the room.

The Sidekick smirked. "Now that tall, dark, and brooding is gone, we can finally have some alone time," You flirted, teasing the poor boy who seemed voluminously disgusted by your comment.

"Has anyone ever told you how annoying you are?" He questioned harshly, his face knitted in irritation.

You thought about it for a bit before answering his question with a smug smirk, "Lots have, but not many live to tell the tale."

"T-t, lunatic." He looked away from you, almost in discomfort. This was something you could take advantage of.

"What's wrong, Rob," you tilted your head a little and stared at him, "don't know what to do now that Daddy's not here."

His head turned toward you, his face holding a dangerous glare, "I don't need him here to get a job done."

"Is that so?" you rose a brow in a cocky manner. Your tactics seemed to be working: he was getting frustrated, "Because you haven't have done crap besides call me a lunatic, and stare at the damn wall ever since the big man left."

"I don't even know why we bother keeping people like you alive," his glare intensified for a few seconds before softening. Robin looked away again continuing to speak, "Plus, I don't see the point of wasting my breath asking you questions you won't answer."

You could tell that the boy was at his breaking point, he just needed a little push before his barrier would come crumbling down. "You know if it were Bats asking the questions, I'd probably be scared shitless, by now" you provoked. Robin looked back at you, anger possessing the features that were visible to you, "But you, you don't scare me, Boy Wonder."

He launched himself at you, hand wrapping around your throat, and pinning you to the wall that had been behind you, feet just inches off the ground. You choked out a laugh, before running your tongue over your chapped lips. "Attaboy," You breathed out, trying to push past the fact that his gloved hand was cutting off your flow of oxygen. Your cuffed hands gripped his hand in an attempt to relieve some of the tension around your neck, "get angry."

You both stared at each other intensely, heavy breaths pushing out from your lungs as it became harder to breathe until finally, he dropped his guard. Robin's grip loosened and yet another smirk sneaked its way upon your lips. "Thanks," you mended your hands together and swung upward, hitting the young bird in the chin. He grunted as you quickly began to make your getaway.

But you hadn't gotten far before Robin had kicked the back the of your knee making you stagger. It gave him enough time to grab you by the shoulder and spin you around before he collided his elbow with his face.

The Boy Wonder pulled you up by your arm and forced you to sit back in the chair you had originally been in. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" He laughed, crossing his toned arms across his chest.

You whimpered from the burning pain in your cheek and spit out a bit of blood, then glared at him, "You're no fun."

He scoffed, uncrossing his arms and tilting his head sideways a little, "Since when has an interrogation ever been fun?"

Let's just say you told him everything you knew and the family was saved.

I hope this was enjoyable.

It was way longer than I expected it to be, so that's some good news.
