Laxus x Rose Oneshots

Accident (Warning)

-3rd Person's POV-

"Laxus? Is everything all right?" Mira knocked on the bedroom door of Rose and Laxus.

A small growl and "go away" was heard from the other side.

"Laxus please... It's been weeks... Rose doesn't want you to treat yourself like this... It's not your fault... It's no one's fault." Mira sighed still worried about the lightning mage.

Ever since the accident had happened... Laxus has been blaming himself for the death of his wife and daughter.

"Laxus... Please... talk to me..." Mira knocked on the door again and tried twisting the knob to open.

The door then opened with Laxus standing tall but still has tears on his eyes.

"Mirajane... I... just..." He muttered, holding to a bottle of pills.

Mira swiped them away from him and observed it closely.

"Laxus! How could you!? These are highly dangerous!" Mira put them in her pocket and slapped him.

"Listen here Dreyar! Rose did not leave you like this! The three of you were happy! And didn't you say that you have already talked about this?!" Mira's hands were on her hips.

"Y-Yeah... I-I guess..." Laxus looked down and tried to remember the memory.

-Flashback-

Laxus was lying on his wife's lap while their daughter was playing with her exceed, Sunny.

"Laxus..." Rose muttered to her husband.

Laxus looked up at her with a worried face, he knows pretty much every tone of Rose's voice whether it was good or bad.

"I don't want you to react so harshly and violently okay? But... When I die... I want you to stop that alcohol addiction of yours." Laxus sat up straight.

"Rose...Isn't this too early? I mean... Roxy is just 4, I'm sure you will see her graduate." Laxus explained, trying to reason with his wife.

Laxus wasn't into these kinds of stuff... He was scared that Rose might overthink things.

"I know Laxus, but please? I want you to stay the Laxus that's happy and safe. The one that I had my childhood with and the one I grew up with too." Rose only gave a small smile at him.

He only sighed and gave a small smile.

-End of Flashback-

"The past weeks were sad and depressing, everyone knows that. Either way, Rose wants you to be happy." Mira looked up at him and smiled.

Laxus, however, was still looking down and nodding his head in response.

8 months have now passed since Rose and Roxy's death. Part of Fairy Tail is fine now but some are still healing.

However, Laxus was still the same. His addiction to alcohol worsen and even now he was taking a huge dose of sleeping pills.

"Laxus!" Erza yelled through the bedroom door, behind her was Natsu, Master Makarov, and Mira.

The Thunder Legion themselves have even given up on their own leader... He was just too much. Non-stop drinking and overdosing on drugs, even smoking large amount of cannabis that Gray or Wakaba couldn't handle.

"Laxus! Get out of the room right now, boy!" Makarov banged at the door.

Still no response came from the opposite side. Laxus looked at the door then stood up.

He grabbed something from the tabla and started writing.

"Laxus... Please..." Mira knocked calmly and twisted on the door knob.

He didn't listen to them and continued writing his heart out.

He soon grabbed a rope from the bed and stood on a stool.

Natsu, who was getting impatient, prepared an attack to bust the door open.

Laxus tied up the end of the rope to form a hoop that fitted his neck after tying the end of the rope to the ceiling.

Laxus was now standing on the stool, ready to kick it away.

Natsu punched the door open right after Laxus kicked the stool of his feet.

Mira gasped while Master supported Laxus before he lost consciousness and Erza cut the rope in half saving Laxus before he would die.

"Dad! Welcome back!" A young boy with Green hair and Blue eyes greeted the blond man who was just gonna enter the house.

Laxus chuckled and messed his hair.

"Thanks son." He smiled at the boy and sat down on the couch.

"Were you good to your Aunt Mira?" Laxus said while he was removing his own shoes.

The boy nodded and smiled.

"Hey Dad...I wanna ask... Who are these two ladies?" The boy showed a picture of the three.

"Luis... Where did you get this?" Laxus looked at the picture.

"A lady gave it to me. She had long pink hair, she also mentioned that she was going to take the train in 20 minutes." Luis checks the time to be sure.

"T-Twenty Minutes!?" Laxus stands up immediately and wears his sandals and runs out.

"Dad!? Where are you going!?" Luis almost ran out with him but Laxus yelled.

"I'll tell you later son! You stay there!" Luis was confused as hell, but he couldn't deny his dad so he stayed homed.
