March 10th 2015

Today was the day that Dustin's life will change forever, and it will be a roller coaster for him and he doesn't even know it. Today was a special day for South Texas and it was the annual Live Stock show in the Rio Grande that every south Texan comes to see all the events of rodeo and FFA shows. Dustin came to support his friend Link; Link was a part time volunteer for the La Feria FFA. "Hey how is it going?" Dustin bought Whataburger to Link. "I am tired. Like if kids want to show heifers like pick up your heifer shit. But I was in their shoes once and all I wanted to do is just see what's around the livestock show." Link wipes his sweat off with his arm, "But hey that girl I told you about Elena. She is also a volunteer for Cardinal FFA. She is showing up today. You ready to meet her?" "I don't know dude. You know I am just focusing on my music right now so I can just leave to Nashville already. I have one month left and I don't want a girl to hold me down right now." Link laughed, "Bro for the past three months you were telling me how lonely you were, and that you want to meet a girl the right way instead of picking them up at the bar. You have changed to a good person Dustin the months you have been here with Mr. and Mrs. Crum. Just come on and treat yourself, she is a great girl you will not regret meeting her. She is coming with Sandy." Dustin nodded, "Okay fine maybe you have a point."

As Dustin and Link hanged out a bit, Sandy and Elena were walking towards them Dustin saw from a far who Sandy was with. Elena wasn't the typical girl Dustin would go for. She didn't have the skinniest body, she was thick/chubs, and she had her hair up in a ponytail, wearing a Luke Bryan 2014 Farm Tour T-shirt, blue jeans, cowgirl boots, and she had a pretty face with a dimple on the left side of her cheek. Elena wasn't really a makeup person all she had on was like blush, foundation, and masquera. She was just a normal Latina Texan. If Dustin was back to his old self he would have backed out last minute because she wasn't his type, but when he had a look of her the closer she came to him his heart told him to stay to see what she is about. "Dustin this is Elena. Elena this is Dustin." Sandy introduced them. They both shook hands, and said hi. "Alright let's go walk around." Link grabbed Sandys' hand and Elena and Dustin walked behind them.

"So tell me about yourself?" Dustin asked. Elena smirked, "Well what do you want to know. Ask me anything." Dustin was fascinated by Elena smile. Her smile was not like most girls. Elena smile was very unique, if you would have made her smile or she just smiled because she wanted to she always started off crooked but in a swave way. Then she would slowly do it from ear to ear, Dustin like that about her because it is a known fact not all girls can do that. Dustin asked her questions of what are her goals in life, and she just told him everything about her. Elena was the shy type she kept mostly everything to herself; she couldn't open up that easily to anyone especially to Sandy but with Dustin she can. She had never had a boyfriend before.

"Hey you in the under armor hoodie, come here and win her a prize. It's only a dollar." A carny was trying to talk to Dustin. Dustin looked at Elena "Do you want me to get you something?" "It is up to you." Elena did her crooked smile.

Dustin gave the carny a dollar, and what Dustin had to do was to hit the bottles with the baseball. He missed 2 times but at the last try he won. Dustin was able to get her a small prize, and it was a stuff purple elephant with ears inside orange. Elena got even more attracted to Dustin, but a little did Dustin know that Elena had a type like Dustin. Elena had thing for white boys with the color eyes, tall, blond or dirty blond hair, and also country. So to Elena, Dustin was the total package to her. This is the guy that Elena will fall for hard, but Dustin does not know that is going on in Elena's mind. So when Dustin won that purple elephant for Elena, it really meant something to her. They started holding hands and Link and Sandy gave them a little privacy, but later on Dustin and Elena met up with Sandy and Link eating Little Ceaser pizza inside the rodeo arena. Dustin and Elena never kissed it was just a nice getting to know each other kind of way. As Dustin gets a text from Mr. Crum "Hey you ready? We have to finish breeding the horses." Dustin put his phone away "Hey I have to go but it was nice meeting you." Dustin ended the day meeting Elena with a hug. She didn't mind that, Elena thought he was being the respectable gentleman. As Dustin left the stock show, Sandy asked "So what do you think of him?" Elena smiled from ear to ear, "He is perfect. I like him and I want to see where this goes. I hope it does work out between us." Link and Sandy were happy they matched them up perfectly, but later on Link will find out how Dustin truly felt.

Dustin and Elena ended up texting each other the whole day on March 10th when they exchanged numbers. Elena will smile every minute when she got a text from Dustin. They were flirting with each other, and Dustin texted Elena when it was already 11pm at night saying "I wish I could have kissed you with your full beautiful lips." But remember any rule that Dustin breaks from Mr. and Mrs. Crum it can cause him his career.

Dustin had a rule had done it every night perfectly, but this time he had broken it. Mr. Crum said every night the phone is turn into him at 10pm no later not even a minute later. When Dustin texted Elena those words, things got heated they ended up talking dirty to each other. Dustin didn't mean it to go that far, but the only reason being he hasn't be been with a female for so long he lost control. Elena went along with it because she just thought if this is what he wants she will do it. She didn't know any better, she knew it felt wrong to talk dirty but she just didn't want to lose Dustin. She just made a mistake for going along with it, because little did Dustin know Elena never truly felt when a guy likes her back. When she got that feeling from Dustin she assumed, she is willing to do whatever it takes to make him ask her to be his.

Mr. Crum came into Dustin's bedroom, "Dustin." He caught Dustin on the phone when he knew he wasn't supposed to be on it. The only word Dustin could say is "fuck." He knew he got caught he just didn't knew it was going to be this soon. "Give me the phone." Mr. Crum angrily said. Dustin couldn't quickly delete the messaged from Elena it was already too late. He knew Mr. Crum was going to find it eventually. "Dustin! Really talking dirty to a girl. Didn't I tell you to treat girls with respect. You know what I have to do right." Dustin knew what Mr. Crum had to do, and that was too report that to Mr. Heal. Dustin didn't want that, so he was going to verbally fight for it trying to convince Mr. Crum not to and that was the second rule Dustin broke. Mr. Crum told him to never argue back with him or Mrs. Crum. After meeting with Elena, Dustin broke three rules but it was not Elena's fault. To Dustin it was going to be her fault in his eyes. Mr. Crum called Mr. Heal and reported what has happen. Dustin stood silent, and Mr. Crum passed the phone to Dustin.

"Hello?" Dustin gulped.

Midnight March 11th2015, "I am adding 10 months." Mr. Heal said furiously. Dustin was outraged, Elena really likes Dustin but once Elena gets to know him more for he truly is because of his past. Elena will never be the same again.
