The dark, thick clouds that were once in the distance now struck a bolt of lightening which was followed by the soft patter of rain on your bedroom window. The nerve Roxy had to call you on something she knew nothing of. A huff sounded the room, so grabbing a soda out of the fridge and plopping on the couch sounded nice about now. You flipped through the channels and came across a few programs that you had liked, so you kept them on till you heard a notification on your phone.

"Unknown number? Eh.." Debating on wether you should pick it up or not, you had decided it was best just to do so anyways. You didn't want to miss a call from your parents or something like that.

"Hello?" A gasp was heard from the other end till you heard a familiar cheerful voice reply.

"Hey Y/n, long time no speak huh?" Your heart leap from you chest as a chill disseminated down your spine.

"Lucio? How the hell did you-"

"It doesn't matter. How ya been girl? I heard you're in New York and I'm inviting you to a party next Saturday if you're down for it." You smiled and decided what the heck. It had been a seriously long time since you've spoke to the music induced spunk.

"Sure thing, where at?" He only laughed and a knock was heard at your door. You curiously walked over and opened it to reveal the crazed party master known as Lucio. He smiled and gave you a tight hug.

During middle and partially freshman year of your younger days, Lucio had been your all time crush as he spared you the time and introduced you into a whole other world of music. You thought he felt the same way until he broke your heard freshman year when he went out with a girl know as Shana. But Lucio still treated you as if you were his pupil and thought you'd always be the side in case his main decided to bail but changed when you told him you'd found someone. After a while he apologized for making you feel that way and you forgave him, but part of you never fully could. You invited him and sat on the couch.

"I thought I'd never hear from you again Y/n. We totally lost contact when you fell for this new boy of yours. Actually," He looked around. "Where is this guy anyways?" You only shook your head and sighed. Telling him the story, he seemed outraged as to why someone would do something so horrible.

"So yeah, here I am now. Stuck in an actual screenplay with the idiot." Lucio tried to recall why the name sounded so familiar until he raised a finger and shouted an 'Oh!'

"Now I remember why it sounded so familiar! I'm doing the party soundtrack for that write. You're really the main role for that movie? Man, small world." Indeed it was. You nodded and grabbed a water from the fridge, horking the thing down.

"Well at least now I have someone to hang out with. I'll see you at the party next week..well actually at rehearsal. I'm gonna get to bed, seeya later!" You smiled and walked him out.

"Hey Y/n?" You turned and tilted your head upwards as to signal to go on. "I'm glad I got to see you again. Take care and goodnight." A smiled creeped onto your lips as you waved as well.

"It really was nice seeing you too. Goodnight." As you closed the door, you sighed and was actually excited about rehearsal tomorrow.

Excuse the short chapter I want to save the juicy stuff for next time!
