'Love?'
You burst into a fit of giggles, insanely laughing like a mad man. You? In love with that idiot? Hah!
Over my dead body.
You turned on your heel, walking away from the large edifice and back into yo r dorm. You were now free today, but that didn't mean you couldn't be productive.
'I'm already up. No use going back to sleep so I might as well do something productive.'
The morning was filled with your dramatic act, startling a few who passed by your door as you became more induced into your roll. But soon morning turned to noon and by then you were starved. The dinning hall downstairs was surly open for lunch, so you grabbed your bag and out the door you went.
Tables packed with students and their clicks, professors cutting the line, and the few who were trying to finish up their last minute papers all scatters across the lot. You chose to sit outside one of the coffee shops as it had a great view of the campus and was fairly secluded from the large crowds. You sat with your medium hot chocolate and freshly baked croissant, content as the weather had been cold and this treatment was just perfect. You sighed and closed your eyes, enjoying the wind blowing softly and the light chatter coming from the campus quad.
"If you have time to relax, you could just hand over your lead roll." You snapped your eyes open to stare up at a rather pissed Roxy. Her clothes looked outta wack while her hair stuck up in random places.
"Hard night, Roxy?" You mused. Wrong move as this only pushed her buttons.
"You wouldn't believe the hard work I put into this roll and yet I only have second place! You just sit there, not having a care in the damn world! You're just a little brat who got luck is all. You don't deserve that roll!" This girl was absolutely clueless, isn't she? You closed your eyes and tuned her out completely. After a few seconds, you realized the noise had stopped and glanced to see a flushed Roxy, fume almost coming out of her ears.
"Oh, you're finally done talking?" Pushing out your chair, you stood up, grabbing your beverage and pastry. "Well since my afternoon was interrupted, I'll be heading back to my dorm now. Buh bye."
Welp, that was a disaster. Why was she so hostile toward you? You couldn't recall doing anything to the upperclassmen, let alone speak to her besides that one time with Genji but you'd think she'd understand.
Tch, hoes be hoes.
Roxy watched as you took your leave. She fumes not only at your cold shoulder toward her, but the way you were do no polar toward Genji. Why wouldn't he just notice her and realized her feelings? It's not like she was a bad person, no, she just tried to watch out for him. She pouted, but turned to head back toward the private college.
Students pored out of their previous classes as the bell had signaled first sessions were over. Green hair perked from the crowd of students and out came the Shimada. A tired expression rested on his face, books carried lazily and slouched shoulders. Rough period? She perked and skipped to the boy, beaming in his presence.
"Hi Genji! Class beat ya up today? You look tired!" He turned and gave a small smile, patting her head softly. She blushed and shut her emotions off and endured the small contact.
"Yeah, class was a mess today. Shakespeare is always a nightmare that even my peers couldn't crack some of the language. Most people just held us back so others who knew had to wait forever." He pinched the bridge of his nose and shut his eyes tightly.
"Think I have a headache coming on." Roxy perked again and dug into her bag, pulling out a small bag with half red and blue pills.
"Here. I use these when I have headaches. It's light Tylenol so it'll go again in no time. You got water?" He grabbed one of the small tablets and thanked her, swallowing the pill and drinking the water from his bag.
"Thanks, needed that. Say, have you seen Y/n?" Roxy shook her had annoyed. He just sighed and gazed around the campus, trying to find sight of you.
"What do you need her for now? Can't you see she doesn't wanna talk to you Genji? Why try?" His hazel orbs snap back at her, his eyes told a different stay as his face had a fake smile plastered onto his lips.
"I just talked to her this morning. I forgot to hand her the scenes for the part because she was too flushed to take them at the time with, uh, somethin'. The director changed a few parts because he wanted more..lovey stuff. I don't know how she's going to react to those things."
As one of the campus doors opened, he saw the you in the doorway and heading inside.
"Welp I see her now so I'll talk to you later Roxy." And so he left. Leaving a pale faced Roxy in the dust.
Short but the updates come faster, right? Hope you enjoyed!
