Night Singer

If you visit the city of hope, Thoren, you would hear the mysterious night singer at night. An unknown female who would sing her heart out. This is one of those nights where you would hear her sing and feel every emotion that she was singing.

Today is one of those nights where she would sing hauntingly as her voice echoed in the streets. The people were sleeping, the light were turned off, and the whole city was silent. As the song ended, you heard the said singer sobbing and trying to ease the pain she was feeling.

No one knows of her story. No one knows who she is. No one knows why would she sing songs at night. No one knows the pain that she was feeling. No one knows why she broke down just now.

No one knows anything about her. No one is even sure if she is human or not. Maybe she is human... Maybe she is a vampire who killed her loved one... Maybe she is a hunter who failed protecting her loved one... Maybe she is a mortal who lost a loved one...

There are rumors that she might be a ghost of a dead noble child. There are rumors that she might be a manifestation of all the pain that was inflicted in everyone. There are rumors that she might be a ghost of a girl who was killed brutally in the middle of the night. There are a lot of tales based on this night singer, but no could confirm if these tales are true or not.

A cry of sadness, pain, and regret continued to echo throughout the slumbering city. It was as if everyone was listening to her, but in reality, no one was listening at all.

Truly, the world is too noise for you to be heard, and too silent for you to listen.

I wonder until how long until she would be found out. I wonder until how long until someone would finally see her and listen to her story. I wonder until how long will she sing there and be alone. I just wonder...

...if anyone would even dare to know who she is.

The night singer walked down the streets and wiped her tears while avoiding anyone who was awake. She walked to a dark path and disappeared in sight.
