The Meif'wa: A Zane~Chan Fanfic

Eavesdropping

Aphmau and Aaron walked in to the room and looked at my face, "Woah! Zane are you OK?!" Aphmau rushed to see my cut which was still bleeding.
"I'm fin- gah! Don't blow on it!" I said loudly.
Kawaii~Chan opened her mouth about to tell what happened.  I shook my head at her enough for her to see but for Aphmau and Aaron not to.  I didn't want anyone to find out about me being a meifwa or the fact that Damian had moonstones in his possession scared me.  I didn't want to make a wrong move, or another one at least.
"What happened?" Aaron walked up to me raising an eyebrow.
"I accidentally startled Kawaii~Chan and she clawed me," I lied hoping it would convince the two, "Kawaii~Chan can you come into the bathroom and help me clean it? Thanks."
I pushed her into the bathroom and locked the door behind us.
I sighed and looked into her amber eyes.  They were usually full of happiness but I didn't see a trace of that.
In a quiet voice I whispered, "What are we going to do about him?"
Kawaii~Chan shook her head and whispered back, "Kawaii~Chan doesn't know.  She doesn't believe that Damian~Senpai would do such a thing," tears formed in her eyes, "Kawaii~Chan doesn't even know if what you guys told was the truth."
I could couldn't bare to see the tears in her eyes.  I surprised myself by giving her a hug.
"What is Zane~Kun doing?" She sounded surprised.
What the heck am I doing?
"Uh, you looked like you needed a hug," I break the hug and saw that she was smiling.
She finishes cleaning my cut and before we left I had to be sure no one else would know my secret, "Uh, Kawaii~Chan?"
"Yes Zane~Kun?" She asked.
Her amber eyes looked at me.  Man, her eyes are pretty- WAIT WHAT?!
"You're not going to tell anyone about my, uh, cat ears and tail, right?"
"You shouldn't hide it forever but, I promise I won't tell until you're ready," she turned the doorknob and opened the door.  Aphmau came stumbling like she had been leaning on the door and listening.
OH IRENE WHAT IF SHE HEARD?!
"APHMAU!" Kawaii~Chan and I both yell.
My eyes were wide open and I was trying to calm myself down.  The more people that,knew, the faster the secret would spread.  Going to A-Con was a huge mistake! I managed to keep the secret safe from everyone until this trip.  Now there's a chance 4 people know, not counting any of the people Damian might have talked to.
"W-What did you hear?" I manage to ask after I cleared my mind a bit.
"Um, I don't know how to answer that..." Aphmau's voice trailed off.
Aaron answered me though, "You're a meifwa?"
Great.
"N-No.  We were... acting out a book we're going to write," I'm kidding myself if they're going to believe this crap.
"Really! What's it about?!" Aphmau bounced up and down on the bed like a hyper child.
"And why were you using your own names?" Aaron asked raising an eyebrow.
Wait Aph actually believes this crap?
"It's about this kid who is a meifwa but is afraid to tell everyone because he might get hurt.  We used our own names because we still need to pick out some good ones," Kawaii~Chan quickly jumped in.
I sighed in relief when Aphmau and Aaron were busy talking about our "book".  I just hope they don't find out, but I'm guessing Aaron does know, or at least is suspicious.
