A Change of Heart

Kawaii~Chan POV

Aphmau, Aaron and I hopped into a taxi and drove all the way to Garroth's house where the gang met up.
"DID YOU GET ANY WORD FROM HIM?!" Garroth was freaking out and started to cry. 
I showed him the message I got with the weird dots and dashes from Zane and he instantly knew what it was, "Morse code."
He and Vlyad glanced at each other worriedly.  Vlyad pulled out a book and started flipping through the pages, "Our mom taught us a lot of codes and said that it could come in handy one day."
Garroth continued, "Me and Vlyad were never any good at it but Zane was a natural.  He and mom use to have complete conversations in morse code until well, until mom died he vowed never to use Morse code again and to pretend to have never understood it.  The fact that he's using it must be serious, seeing that he was kidnapped it might be a message he doesn't want Ein or Damian to read."
Serious message? Please be OK Zane.
"How do we decode it?" I ask.
"There's an online translator for everything nowadays. Or you could read the book," Vlyad put the book back.
"Well then, I guess we should get deciphering," I said determined to bring Zane back.

"KAWAII CHAN, IT'S ZANE. WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T COME AND LOOK FOR ME, IT'S A TRAP, DAMIAN FOUND OUT THAT YOUR THE MEIFWA PRINCESS AND WILL FORCE YOU TO MARRY HIM JUST SO HE CAN GAIN POWER AND KILL ALL THE MEIFWA. GET AS FAR AWAY FROM A-CON AS POSSIBLE AND PLEASE DON'T DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME, I'VE BEEN THROUGH WORSE THAN WHAT THEY'RE GIVING ME. I LIKE YOU A LOT KAWAII CHAN AND I'M SORRY I KEPT MY SECRET FROM YOU FOR SO LONG."

D-Damian knew about me? Zane too? No, Damian wouldn't do such a thing, maybe his heart changed for her better.  But it says that Zane likes me a lot, as a friend or, more?

The gang took a couple cars out to A-Con where we found the person we were looking for; Damian.
"Well, you have a lot of friends with you here don't you milady," he smiled and went to give me a hug before I stared at him coldly.
"Where is Zane?" I gritted my teeth at him.
Behind me Garroth had a bat and Aaron rose his fists. 
Damian's eyes went wide as Aaron was about to punch him, "OK, OK I'll tell you!" He sighed and looked angry, "He's in that old mill building over the South Side Bridge."
Aaron dragged him to the car so he wouldn't escape easily.
"You better be telling the truth.  If we find out you're lying, I have no problem giving you a black eye!" Garroth threatened.
I had no idea how close Garroth was to Zane, especially after Zane kept on pushing him away.
We drove the car all jam packed to the South Side Bridge.  In Aaron's car was him, Aphmau, Garroth, Vlyad, Damian and me.  The problem was, there wasn't enough seats so me and Vlyad had to share one since we were on the smaller side in the back seat.
Hours went by before we reached the mill Damian was talking about.
"This is the place?" I asked confused.
Damian nodded, "Don't tell him that I told you where he was, I never wanted to but I didn't want to be killed by your friends."
Maybe he's not as bad as Zane made him out to be, he can't be.
Lucinda, Kim, Vlyad, Katelyn and Travis all guarded Damian to make sure he didn't run away.
We entered the room which was covered in dust and traces of footprints on the floor leading to a door at the end of a hall.  I turned the doorknob to see jail cells of meifwa inside, and one filled with blood and corpses.  I shivered at the thought.
"Let's keep moving," I say to my group quietly. 
We walked up stairs and down a couple hallways and rooms until I saw someone walking down a corridor.  He had black ears and tail with baby blue tips, ZANE!
I ran to him and put my hand on his shoulder.  He turned and pulled away from my hand.
"ZANE! WE WERE SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" I tried to give him a hug but he pushed me off of him.
His eyebrows were slanted down in an angry expression.
"Zane?" I asked quietly.
"What are you doing here?! I thought I was an annoying screwup!" He stomped off away from me and the group who had made it to us.
