The Meif'wa: A Zane~Chan Fanfic

Moonstone

"You Meifwa."

The words echoed inside my head, my eyes were wide and my mouth slightly open.
"Tsk.  Must suck to be you huh? Meifwas are weak pushovers, annoying and quiet.  All of those are horrible traits and you've got them all," Damian gave me a fake sympathy look.
"What about your girlfriend?" I ask raising an eyebrow trying to get off topic of me.
"She's an annoying brat.  It's as if she doesn't have bad days and that she's happy all the time," he replied.
It's true, Kawaii~Chan always seemed happy. Seemed.  But for me it was easy to see under her masquerade.
"So why is she your girlfriend?" This wasn't making much sense to me.
"You'll find out, one day you all will find out," Damian as vague as ever said.
Damian looked at me, "So are you gonna show your ears and tail or will I have to force you?"
"I'm not a Meifwa, and I don't have cat ears and a tail," I denied.
There was nothing he could do that would make me show them. Nothing.
He dug through his pocket and took out something small and iridescent. It was a shimmery white with a blue tint at the top.  It looked like a moonstone. Moonstone! My eyes widened again.  Meifwas get really weak and could die by touching it.  Damian hates me! He's obviously going to try and kill me! It's not like all those books where the underdogs win, or undercat in my case, this is real life!
He flicked the stone and it sliced through the air.  It flew inside my mouth and I accidentally swallowed.  I coughed heavily and falling onto the floor losing my balance.  My eyes watered.  I tried to slap my back to get it out but it wasn't working, I could already feel myself getting weaker.  Without realizing my ears and tail came out.  He took a picture.  He took a picture of me with my cat tail and ears.  I would've slugged him if it weren't for the moonstone.  I heard someone from outside walking to our hotel room and with every bit of strength I had left I tucked my ears and tail back in.
"Zane~Kun!" Kawaii~Chan rushed over to me and gave me the heimlich maneuver.  I stopped coughing as soon as the moonstone came out.  Kawaii~Chan saw the moonstone on the ground as I fainted from being so weak.  She must know.  And if she didn't connect the obvious dots that I fainted after I chocked on a moonstone, Damian would probably show her a picture, unless... unless my ears and tail untucked as I fainted.
