I was running, falling, blood spurting from my stomach, my body writhing in pain. I woke up then. screaming, my arms clenching my duvet and pillow, dripping in sweat. Some Capitol nurses ran in, panicking and flustered. One of them loaded up an syringe as I starting thrasing around on the bed.

"WAIT! YOU DON'T HAVE TO-" A nurse got elbowed out of the way by my dad who must've ran a marathon to actually fight his way into the ward "YOU DON'T HAVE TO INJECT HER WITH ANYTHING! SHE ISN'T SOME RABID ANIMAL!"

He stood infront of them all, garuding my bed "Two seconds: give me two seconds."

The nurse glared and put the shot down.

My dad pulled me up onto his chest and held me close. My breahing dropped with my heart rate and I was flodded with calm. I shut my eyes and clung to him. When I opened them the nurses had gone.

"You alright now sweetheart?" He mumbled

"Uh-huh."

"It's alright." He said soothingly, stroking my hair back and gently patting the back of my hand.

"Did you see when Adaam died?"

He frowned and nodded "Yeah."

I shuddered "That's what was going on...But it was me,"

He gave my shoulder a sqeeuze and mumbled "It takes a long time...To get over- that."

"I know, but like mom, I'm impaient." I whispered

"It'll work itself out kid," He whispered back

"I've come out of that place with nothing but nightmares."

"That's not a positive thing- the one good thing is that you've shown the world just how strong you can be."

"Does mom hate me?"

"For what?"

"I dunno, being pregnant, not being able to walk and not doing as she says."

"She loves you kiddo, I know she does- no matter what you do."

I could murder people and, judging by that hug when I woke, she would still love me.
