*Justin’s POV*

I pull up in front of Molly’s dorm at exactly four o’clock.

Damn. I’m so on time.

I walk up to her dorm and knock on the door.

“Coming!” She calls from inside.

I chuckle. “Take your time.”

Three minutes later she clobbers out the door, luggage in hand.

“You ready?”

“Yes,” She smiles. “I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’m ready.”

We walk out of her building and load her things into the car before we slide in and pull away.

“Why can’t you believe you’re doing this, Molly? We’ve taken trips together before…”

“I know, but not as a couple.”

“Yeah, I guess, but it isn’t really that different, except that this time I get to kiss you for real, instead of just thinking about doing it.”

Her eyes bulge. “Justin. Don’t mess with me like that.”

“I’m not messing! What? You didn’t realize I had a crush on you for, like, ages?”

“Ages?! Are you joking?”

“Why would I be joking?!”

“Because I’m ugly. As eff.”

“Never say that. Never say that, Molly,” I warn her, my tone getting serious.

“Woah, calm down, mister.”

“No. I’m serious, Molls. Never call yourself ugly or doubt yourself in anyway like that ever again.”

She raises her eyebrow. “Um, okay.”

“Please,” my voice softens.

She licks her lips. “I mean–okay, but I don’t understand why you just flipped out about that.”

“I don’t want you to doubt yourself like that, Molly. You’re worth more than that. I know you don’t see it, but I do, and you are.”

“Okay,” she replies with a smile and flushed cheeks.

“Kenny?” I call. {A/N: Even though Kenny doesn’t work with Justin anymore, I like using him as the bodyguard in my stories. Kenny’s my faveeeee.}

“Yeah, J?”

“Can you turn on the CD that I gave you?”

“Sure,” He says and slides the CD in.

Imediately, Problem by Ariana Grande begins to play.

Beside me, Molly’s eyes widen.

“Justinnn! How’d you know?!”

“Instincts,” I grin.

She raises her eyebrow.

“Twitter,” I groan.

She laughs and starts to sing along. “Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders, I should be wiser and realize that I’ve got: one less problem without ya, I got on less problem without ya, I got one less problem without ya–…”

“I GOT ONE LESS, ONE LESS PROBLEM,” We both scream at the same time.

Molly breaks out in a fit of laughter and her head falls into my lap. She laughs for a minute and a half straight, until Iggy Azalea’s rap comes on.

“Ziggy Iz, watcha got!” She sits up and starts to rap: “smart money bettin’ I’ll be better off without you, in no time I’ll be forgettin’ all about you, you sayin’ that you know, but I really, really doubt you understand my life is easy when I ain’t around you;”

I join her: “Iggy, Iggy, too biggie to be here stressin’, I’m thinkin’ I love the thought of you more than I love your presence and the best thing now is probably for you to exit; I let you go, let you back, I finally learned my lesson; no half steppin’ either you want it or you’re just playin’, I’m listenin’ to you knowin’ I can’t believe what you’re sayin’, there’s a million you’s, baby boo, so don’t be dumb–…”

She turns to me and smirks: “I got 99 problems but you won’t be one, like whaaat.”

I laugh. What can I say? She looks super sexy when she’s rapping.

“Hate to interrupt,” Kenny starts. “But we’re here.”

I look out the window and, sure enough, we’re at the runway.

Molly takes a deep breath.

“What’s the matter?” I turn to her. “Are you scared…?”

“Of course not–I love planes! I’m just…I don’t know. I feel like it’s wrong to let you fly me to New York City on your private jet and–…”

“Molly. Stop. I don’t know what’s running through your head right now, but stop it right now. I’m happy to treat you like this. I want to go to New York with you, do you not want to come with me…?”

“Of course I do, Jay! I just…I don’t know,” She sighs.

What? Why are girls so weird sometimes? Why won’t she just let me treat her to this? I have some many romantic things planned for us to do in NYC… Oh God. Maybe she thinks I’m moving too fast... Is that it?

“D’you-d’you think we’re moving too fast?” I question her.

“I don’t know. I don’t think so. I mean, ugh.”

I laugh. “Molly, we’re both nervous and overthinking it. C’mon, this is gonna be fun–you know it will be.”

“I know,” She sighs.

I open my car door. “Let’s go.”

We both step out of the car and walk onto the jet. (Kenny already loaded our luggage into the plane.)

Molly walks in first and slides into the same seat she always sits in–all the way at the back and next to the window. I slide into the seat in front of her–the same seat I always sit in.

She smiles as I sit down. “I’m sorry I made a fuss back there. It’s just that I’m so scared after everything with Alex…”

I shake my head. “Don’t be sorry. You have every right to be scared and nervous. I just want to make sure you know that I’m here for you, and I’m never gonna hurt you like he did. Ever. Okay, Molly?”

“Okay, Justin,” She nods. “Have I ever told you how thankful I am that we became friends?”

“I don’t think so, no…”

“Well, I am. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you all these years, Justin. You’ve always been there for me–thank you.”

“My pleasure, Molly Renolds. My pleasure.”
