*Justin’s POV*

At first I’d thought Molly wouldn’t even be impressed, but after seeing the look on her face when she walked out of the elevator, all the worry was lifted off my shoulders.

I squeeze her hand in mine and she turns to me, her eyes brimming with tears.

“This is…the most amazing, beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me.”

“Amazing and beautiful… Just like you,” I grin and she blushes, turning her head to the ground.

I pick her head up with my thumb and her eyes meet mine again. She has beautiful eyes.

“Let’s go,” I lead her onto the roof and take the view in for myself.

I brought us to a restaurant on the top of a skyscraper in the middle of the New York City skyline, and the view is better than I could’ve ever imagined.

You can see everything from Central Park to the Empire State Building to the Statue of Liberty.

Wow. Bonus points: Justin.

Our presence attracts a few stares, but I ignore them. At least there’s no paparazzi.

“Welcome, Mr. Bieber,” A waiter approaches us, greeting us and leading us to the table set.

“Thank you so much,” Molly gushes to the man.

“Our pleasure, Miss Renolds,” The waiter replies. “Your waitress will be here momentarily. Thank you for dining with us this evening; your complimentary lemon bar is waiting for you.”

He walks away and Molly and I both look down to see a small, delicate lemon bar cut into a heart waiting for us.

“This is…” Molly shakes her head with a sigh.

“An amazing first date?” I suggest.

She laughs. “Well, technically it isn’t our first date…”

“Molly,” I shake my head. “Don’t even bring that up. That doesn’t count. I’m trying to make up for that.”

“That may take awhile.”

“I’m willing to spend the rest of my life trying to make up for it if I have to, Molls.”

She blushes and looks down at her lemon bar.

Her eyes look intently at the sweet, and she reaches for her fork, but something stops her. She doesn’t tell me what, though, she just hopes I didn’t realize.

I raise my eyebrow but decide not to bring it up.

A waitress walks delicately to our table. “Welcome to Café in the Sky! I’m Rachael, I’ll be helping you out today. Is there anything I can get you to start off? A drink, perhaps?”

“Uh, yes please,” Molly bites her lip cutely. “Can I get a diet coke?”

“Of course! You, Mister Bieber?” She turns to me.

“I’ll take the same. Thank you.”

She nods and walks off.

Molly takes a deep breath and sets her elbows on the table, leaning her head on top of them. “So.”

I lean in closer to her, “So.”

She giggles. “How’s the new music coming?”

“Really, really well. I think I’m gonna make a quick stop at the studio tomorrow if that’s okay with you… Just for a little bit, I don’t want to make this trip about me–…”
