*Molly’s POV*
“What are we gonna do first?” I question Justin and take a sip from my drink.
“There’s no questions to be asked: Molls–I have this entire trip planned out, okay? I want it to be perfect.”
I laugh. “Okay, okay. I’m sorry I asked. Where to first, Romeo?”
Justin raises his eyebrow. “Don’t you sass your rich boyfriend like that, missy.”
I roll my eyes.
“I’m going to the bathroom,” Justin abruptly comments. “and while I do, start to unpack, we’re going out for dinner soon. Dress nicely.”
And with that, he leaves me alone in our penthouse hotel room.
I put my drink down on the table and walk down the long, luxurious hallway and into my room.
It’s huge.
My mouth gapes open as I scope out the whole thing. There’s a king bed made up perfectly, I have a big, open window letting loads of natural light in and brightening up the whole room, I have my own master bathroom with a Jacuzzi, and I have three couches, as well as two tables.
I turn the corner and open the doors of the closet. Inside, I find my luggage and open my bag to pull out several dresses, and I hang them up.
Deciding on a beautiful navy, lace one, I close my closet doors and warm up my hair straightener. (A/N: Dress she wears and how she looks on the right!)
I plug my phone in and stream music, starting with “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey.
I dance around my room to myself as I start to get ready, and an hour later, I’ve got my hair done, my makeup done, and I’m pulling my dress on.
“Molly?” Justin calls from behind my closed door.
“Yes?”
“You nearly ready?”
“Mhm!” I call back, pulling my dress up my body. “Five minutes and I’m good!”
“Okay, take your time,” He replies and walks slowly down the hallway and away from my room.
Once I’ve got my dress fully on, I slip my heels on and look at myself in the mirror.
Eh. I guess I look alright.
I grab my purse, slide my phone, my lipstick, and my mascara into it and walk out of my room and down the hallway.
I find Justin sitting on the end of the couch on his phone.
“I’m ready,” I tell him, and his eyes flicker up to me quickly before they widen.
“M-Molly,” He stutters then clears his throat and adjusts his tie–keeping his cool. “You look…beautiful.”
My heart flutters. Alex never called me beautiful, only ‘sexy’ or ‘hot’, it was nice to have a real gentleman finally.
Justin stands up and grabs my hand and leads me out of our room and down into the lobby.
I begin to walk toward the front doors but Justin pulls me back and shakes his head no.
“What?” I ask.
“We’re going out the back. That’s where the car is,” He tells me and turns around, leading me around the back.
“Why are we going around the back?”
“I don’t want to bring paparazzi into this already, Molly.”
I raise my eyebrow. Something inside of me hurts at that comment, but I have to tell myself that it isn’t that he’s ‘not proud’ of me, but rather that he wants to protect me.
He opens the back door of the hotel and we walk out into an alley-type street before the car door is opened for me and I slide in.
“So. Where are we off to?” I ask him.
He turns to me and looks straight into my eyes, giving me time to really study his. They’re warm, and carmel-colored, and easy to get lost in.
“It’s a surprise,” He leans into me and whispers in my ear.
I giggle and the driver takes off down the bustling streets of New York City.
“Don’t make any eye contact,” Justin tells me as we pull up in front of a fancy-looking skyscraper.
There are crowds of both fans and paps here already. Just by making a booking he’s got his fans lining up down the road–it’s insane!
The driver opens the door for us and we step out, and Justin grabs my hand, his wet with sweat.
Awe. He always gets sweaty around crowds of fans–he’s so worried that they’ll get hurt, since so many have.
We keep our heads down and walk through the glass doors and into the building. Once we’re in, Justin doesn’t let my hand go, instead he pulls me back up to one of the windows, drops my hand to open the window, then grabs it again.
“I LOVE YOU GUYS. THANK YOU. I’LL TAKE PHOTOS AFTER DINNER IF I CAN. YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME. ALWAYS BELIEVE,” He shouts out to his fans and they scream, and scream, and scream.
He chuckles and leads me toward the elevator.
“Mr. Bieber?” A man working at the building asks.
“Yes?”
“Uh, well… My boss was just curious as to whether you plan to let your fans crowd the sidewalk all night?”
Justin sighs. “I don’t mean to interfere with anything here, sir–it’s a beautiful building you’ve got–it’s just that…my fans mean so much to me, and they’re the reason I get to come here and eat fancy dinners, so it means a lot that I’m able to give them what they want when I can. I don’t mean to inconvenience you, or your building.”
The man smiles: “Well, aren’t you a gentleman! Mister, feel free to let them stay out there as long as you need! I’m a real fan of you now, Mr. Bieber. Never listenin’ to those tabloids again… Hm…” He walks away, still muttering to himself.
Justin looks at me and starts cracking up.
I laugh with him and he starts to walk to the elevators again.
Once we’re in the elevator, Justin pushes the button and we’re taken up to the 84th floor.
“That was pretty heroic,” I kid.
“Oh, I know,” He sighs. “I can’t help it. I’m just such a gentleman.”
I roll my eyes. “We’ll see.”
Justin scoffs. “Is that a challenge?”
“It’s whatever you want it to be,” I reply quickly then lean in, teasing him, and whisper in his ear. “It’s whatever you think you can handle.”
Justin bites the inside of his cheek and licks his lips. “Well… I didn’t think I’d be having this much fun tonight…”
The elevator doors open and I begin to step out when Justin stops me, laces our fingers together like a proper man, and we walk out of the elevator.
When I look up, my eyes widen, and my jaw drops.
