*Molly’s POV*
I pull the bathroom door and step out of it before Justin’s arms snake around my waist and he pulls me into some room.
“Uh-what?!” I whisper disgruntledly once I get my footing.
Justin chuckles. “Sorry. I didn’t want a scene, but I want to talk to you–somewhere that you can’t look into your lap and ignore me.”
I bite my lip and resist the urge to move my gaze to the floor, an action a little too common with me lately.
When Alex and I were together, he would say things to make me uncomfortable all the time, so I got used to looking down and keeping my eyes low.
I need to break that habit.
“I’m sorry, Justin… I didn’t mean to be so rude and ruin this date… It’s so lovely and beautiful and you look so handsome and it’s all so perfect but I’m–…”
Justin pushes his lips into mine and all the weight on my shoulders is immediately lifted off. My toes start to tingle and the tingle spreads through my entire body, making me feel like I’m soaring.
Woah. I’ve never had a kiss like that. Ever.
I pull away and a moan escapes my lips.
I bite my lip and my eyes begin to float to the ground, but Justin catches my chin and lifts my head back up.
He shakes his head, “We aren’t doing that anymore, remember?”
I meet his gaze and nod. I grin. “I remember.”
“Good,” Justin tucks a strand of my hair back behind my ears. “Now, do you want to tell me what all that was about?”
“I was just being moody,” I lick my lips. “That’s all. And…I can’t stop thinking about Alex and I and everything that went wrong, and everything he did to me…”
Justin’s eyes turn soft. “It’s not right that you had to go through that, and I’m happy we were able to get you out of there. It was nothing but trouble right from the start, and I’m sorry.”
“It wasn’t you! Justin! It was Alex, and it was me… I was so caught up in what I thought I had I couldn’t see what I really wanted,” I pause for a cheesy yet dramatic moment, “you.”
His eyes light up, “Really?”
“Really,” I smile. “That kiss… That was different from any other kiss that I’ve had… Ever.”
Justin chuckles. “I’ve been told I’m a pretty damn good kisser you know.”
I laugh. “You know your modesty really turns me on.”
He throws his head back laughing and his eyes flicker quickly up and down my body.
Oh, God. Did he just check me out?
To try and change the subject, I remember where we are. Or, where I think we are, considering how dark it is in here.
“Uh, Justin?” I whisper.
“Yes?”
“Where are we?”
“A broom closet.”
“A broom closet?! You couldn’t have chosen any other location to be romantic in?”
“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t find the most romantic hiding spot that I could have–…”
I giggle to myself and interrupt him with a kiss.
This time, he pulls away grinning.
“Woah,” His eyes widen. “You’re getting better already.”
