Days for Ashley Burke blend together. Her mind doesn't even think as she goes through the same old routine every morning in her home city, the Big Apple. Wake up, go to school, and return. The only exciting thing that happened to her at school was in fourth grade during the infamous Mashed Potato Fight where the sloppy food flew right into her face from a fellow classmate and well-known school bully Ronnie Green. Ronnie, a bratty girl with a somewhat pudgy face, has targeted Ashley since kindergarten.
Thankfully, today Ashley was having a somewhat potato-free afternoon at Banks High School.
As the school bell rang for dismissal, Ashley was already gone, eager to get home to her new project. She wasn't even sure what to call it. Project? Hobby? Work?
Either way, it was worth running home without an umbrella in the pouring rain for.
