This is just the first time Rowan meets Aelin from his point of view so... yes.
Rowan clicks his long beak at the little assassin on the rooftop.
He can't possibly begin to conceive what Maeve could ever find important or special about such a creature.
It can't even find its wine.
The child glances up at the eternal face warrior, and sends him a vulgar gesture, and sticks her tongue out at him.
She swigs from the cask of wine, before peeling herself off the steaming hot tiles of the building.
The princess glances at him once more, before climbing back down the building.
Rowan opens his wings, and swoops off the building, circling above the mortal, as she wanders into an alley.
Time to say hello then.
Excellent.
