A/n: This chapter is kind of like a fill in, it really doesn't have anything to talk about Rin and Bon, but please! Read if you shall! :3
Bon's POV
I had grown worried, Rin hasn't come back and it's been about three hours since he left on a walk. He could've been dead for all I knew! I made a promise, and I've broken it. I wasn't able to protect him, and now how knows where Rin could be. I slouched in my chair, not wanting to do anything of the sorts. I just wanted to sulk in my shame along with Kuro sleeping. As I closed my eyes, I heard a group of running footsteps along with somebody breaking my door down.
"Bon!" Shima yelled, huffing and heaving heavily. He wasn't all too well at running fast for short lengths. I turned around, facing him and a group of other people behind him, right outside of my door. "What the hell?!" I yelled, looking at everyone's concerned expressions. "Bon, Rin was found unconscious outside!" Yukio yelled behind him. As I heard the news, I was shocked. I ran down faster than anybody else. I ran as hard as I could down to the large pasture of grass. Sure enough, Rin was there. He was lying with his legs bent, and his arms lying restlessly by his side. His face was heavily burned, along with his hoodie gone and his shirt ripped and burned at a few of the edges. His wrist was snapped, and his foot looked sprained.
I covered my mouth as I kneeled by his side. Everybody filled the space around me. Shima and a few of my closet friends tried to surround me as I held Rin in my arms. "Bon I-" "Get away! Don't touch him!" I yelled. Shima immediately stepped back. As I didn't good at yelling him, I didn't care at the time. All that I care about is Rin's health and safety. I had carefully carried Rin into our dorm and sat him onto his bed. I was put to a little ease as his chest rose and decreased. Everybody soon filled my room with concern and worry. By the time half an hour had passed, it was only me, Shima, and Yukio left in my room. Shima patted my back as I sat uncomfortably in my chair. Yukio was sitting near the corner, over-looking everything and most likely analyzing everything that's happened to Rin.
Rin had caught my attention by shifting. That was quite good for me, knowing that he's at least a little conscious. I kneeled by his side as a few burn marks had caught my eye. As I lifted the back of his shirt, we all grieved as we saw a name engraved into his back. "Reiji?" Shima unknowingly said as mine and Yukio gasped. I had looked at Yukio when he looked at me. "You know Reiji?" I had asked Yukio, watching his worry expand. "I should be asking you that question" We had exchanged glares, "Who the hell is Reiji?" Shima yelled. Both mine and Yukio's eyes looked at Shima. As I didn't want to say, as I was on the urge to explaining, Yukio had exhaled heavily. "Reiji Shiratori was and still is Rin's "bully"" He used air quotes as he explained the word bully. "Rin would always start the fights because of the rumors about Reiji injuring animals, mostly white doves which were common around our town. I'm guessing that Rin has been starving himself because of how he thinks people think about him. considering his strength from eating has deteriorated, it would've left him vulnerable to whatever tricks Reiji was up to. Thankfully, this isn't as bad as it seems."
I looked at Shima, which both of us had nothing to say. Although my anger was bottling up inside because of the phrase "Thankfully this isn't as bad as it seems" Of course it's as bad as it seems! Rin, a caring, annoyingly hilarious kid was simply just protecting himself and animals but got tortured because of it! The hell it's as bad as it seems! Shima saw my anger getting out of hand, and placing his hand upon my shoulder. I looked behind me and saw him giving a worried smile. As I had controlled my feelings, I stressfully looked back at Rin. Although it was good to see him sleeping and not having a nightmare, but it also hurt to see him in such state.
