Chapter 8

It was after Christmas and time for the new year. Ever since the night Yoongi and Taeyeon talked, he treated her normally. Not ignoring her or fighting her. The boys were getting ready for their ultimate new year concert and after party. Every year they celebrate the new year with an awesome rave and this year it will be epic because of the new song they made.

Taeyeon was sitting with Irene in the classroom before the lesson started. " I heard that this year, EXO will be preforming with the other bands this year. I'm so excited." Irene said as she grabbed the books out of her bag. " Who's EXO."

Irene laughed and patted Taeyeon's back. " Oh dear child, only one of the best bands. Well other than BTS. It has Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho, DO, Lay, Chen, Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, and Tao in there." She nodded and looked out towards the door, where she saw Kai walking with his friends. For a split second he looked at her and smiled. Taeyeon blushed and hid her face with her hair. 

After the class ended, Taeyeon headed to lunch and met Irene there. In the cafeteria, the stage was already being set, posters were hanged, and volunteer tables were set out, that where Irene was. Taeyeon seemed interested in performing and doing makeup at the concert . But before she could walk Krystal and her friends walked in front of her and signed the paper for performing.

" Hello again. Oh did you want to sign up to sing. Hmm to bad, because every year we win the concerts best girl group. There would be no point in signing up, you don't have a group." Taeyeon scoffed and took the pen from her hand.

" I wasn't signing up to sing. I was going to do the makeup." She said laughing awkwardly and signing the paper. Krystal and her friends walked away victoriously.

" Don't listen to her. I'll see what I can do to get you to sing." Taeyeon declined the offer and sat down next to her to eat. While eating, BTS came up to officially sign the form.

" Hey Taeyeon. Oh your doing makeup, cool! I bet we will look awesome." Jungkook said as he put his elbows on the table to look at her. Yoongi rolled his eyes and pulled his ankle making him fall and hit his chin.

" Owww. Taeyeon, Yoongi hurt my chin. Kiss it for me." Taeyeon blushed and hit the back of his head before turning to Yoongi.

" Are you making a song by yourself?" Yoongi nodded and rubbed his forehead.

" The process is really slow, so I don't know if I will have a song." Irene frowned and rubbed his back. He looked at her weirdly before shoving her hand off.

" I can help. Irene really likes you guys, and I know she would be disappointed that you wouldn't have a song. How about that?" Irene smiled and nodded her head vigorously. Before Yoongi could answer, the bell rang.

" I'll think about it. See you at home." Yoongi said before running to class.

Time skip~
Taeyeon arrived home to the boys gone. She walked to the kitchen and saw a note on the counter. ' Gone to practice. See you at 10.' She sighed and ran upstairs to change. She wore a large grey sweater and white shorts, with a beanie covering her hair.

She sat on the couch and surfed through the channels, finding nothing interesting. So she decided to meet Kai at the park near the school. When she arrived, Kai was on the swings with a dog in his lap. Lilac was with Taeyeon and when she saw the dog on Kai, she ran towards him.

" Hey."

" Taeyeon, hi. Um... what.. I mean.. how are you?" He said all flustered.

" I'm fine, but what's wrong with you?" She said sitting down with him while she let Lilac run around with his dog.

" I'm really nervous about the concert. It's in a week and it's our first. But also, an entertainment scout is going to be there. And he could pick us, us!" He said very quickly. Taeyeon laughed at how flustered he was and put her hand on his back.

" You will definitely be picked. They would be stupid not to pick you, well coming off from Irene's experience." He handed her the phone and pushed the play button.

". This is the sneak peak Of a song Chanyeol made, it's called Heaven. Tell me if you like it."

" Wow, this is really pretty. Your voices are great and the tune is soothing. I have a plan for the perfect outfit." Kai looked at her curiously as she elaborated her plan.

Taeyeon and Kai decided to go to his house to talk about the set design and makeup, but first she took a bunch of makeup and he boys clothes. He brought her up to his room and set her on a chair.

She put a pink sweatshirt and white pants. With his permission, she died his hair pink and white like her hair. " Alright, your done!" He looked at himself in the mirror and was very impressed.

"It goes with the song, can you do this to the other ones." She nodded enthusiastically and told him that she is helping with the makeup.

" Great! I'll tell the others. After school tomorrow, we can meet up behind the stage to set up the makeup."

" Ok, Oh god! I spent a lot of time here, I need to get home now. See you tomorrow the. Bye!!" She ran out of the house as Kai watched her.

When she got to the front door, she busted it open and apologized. But no one was there " Wait, are they still not back yet?" She sighed in relief and fell face first on the couch.

Bored out of her mind, even if she did just arrive, she decided to call her friend from America. " Hello, who is this?"

She heard a girl speak instead of him and smiled to herself. " Hi, I'm Taeyeon. Baekhyun's friend!"

" Oh, hey hold on Baekie is right here."

" TAEYEONAHHHH!!!" Taeyeon cringed as he heard his scream.

" Hey Baekie, how are you?" She said laughing.

" I'm great I got new friends to hang out with, but I miss you so much!" Taeyeon talked to him about everything in Korea for hours

Yoongi and the others came home at 2 in the morning. " Aw, She is asleep here. I'll take her up." Jungkook said whispering as he picked her up. Yoongi scoffed and shook his head.
