Scott and Stiles slam the doors shut, holding them, they are in crouched positions. I am crouched next to Stiles, tear falling down my face. My mates dead, Derek's dead. My right wrist where out mate mark is, feels like it's burning and is red now instead of black. He's gone.
"Lock it, lock it!" Scott exclaims
"Do I look like I have a key?" Stiles replies
"Grab something!" Scott snaps
"What?" Stiles retorts
"Anything!"
Stiles stands up and looks out the window, seconds later Scott joins him, I follow and we look at the bolt-cutters.
"No," Scott says to Stiles
"Yes," Stiles replies
"Stiles, no, don't."
Stiles exits the school, he goes to grab the bolt-cutters when the Alpha appears behind the jeep and walks towards him.
"Run! Stiles! Stiles!" Scott and I yell
Stiles grabs the bolt cutters and runs back into the school. He puts the bolt-cutters on both the door handles.
"The desk. Stop, stop. The door's not gonna keep it out." Stiles says
While they move the desk in front of the door, I let out a strangled sob.
"I know," Scott replies
"It's your boss," Stiles says
"What?"
"Deaton, the Alpha? Your boss."
"No."
"Yes, murdering psycho werewolf."
"That can't be," Scott says
"Oh come on. He disappears, and that thing shows up ten seconds later to toss Derek 20 feet through the air? That's not convenient timing?" Stiles asks
"It's not him," Scott replies
"He killed Derek," Stiles says
"No, Derek's not dead. He can't be dead."
"Blood spurted out of his mouth, okay? That doesn't exactly qualify as a minor injury. He's dead, and we're next." Stiles tells him
"We are so screwed. Also one more thing. Remind me to kill you later. Please." I tell them.
