"So, did you like Drake back..?" Kailey asks Ally.
"No. I don't think I'll ever get over Gilbert." She shrugs. None of us knew Drake THAT well, so it wasn't like a Gilbert situation, it was still sad though.
"Guys, it's getting dark, shall we start camping out and building a shelter?" Tom suggests.
"Jeez, I feel jetlagged.." I groan
"Same." Everyone sighs.
"I'll grab sticks and stuff to make a fire," Archie says.
"Okie Dokie, be careful." Peter nods. After we gathered together in a circle and sat by the warming fire, it was time to eat.
"What do we got to eat?" Ally asked Archie.
"Well in Omni it's good to have strength, so all we have is meat."
"Oh dear..." Ally groans.
"You seriously messed up." Kailey sighs.
"Why would you even..." Peter holds his head, everyone groans except Henery and Archie looking clueless.
"Uh... What's wrong guys?" Archie asks
"Tatiana over here is vegetarian." Peter answers
"Oh... Well, guess you'll have to quit being vegetarian for a week or two." Archie shrugs. Everyone digs in and eats the meat. I stare at them, completely nauseated.
"T, it's either you eat it, or you don't." Ally says exasperatedly.
"That's a perfectly good animal; this is basically cannibalism!" I groan.
"Well actually... Cannibalism is the practice of eating the flesh of one's own species-" Peter starts correcting me. I raise an eyebrow at Peter.
"But technically yeah it is..." Peter laughs awkwardly.
"I'll eat it when I really need it; I found some leafs anyway." I smile.
"Tatiana those are poisonous." Ally tilts her head concernedly.
"Okay guys we're gonna solve all of our problems right here, Peter what's your problem?" Archie asks.
"Well- Tatiana here hasn't accepted my honest, sincere, apology." Peter crosses his arms like a bratty child.
"Because what you said about Gilbert was spasmodic!" I snarl.
"Well, I didn't mean it!"
"Well then shut up and don't say things you. Don't. Mean!"
"Quit it, kids!" Archie says in a parenting voice.
"Look, Peter, what you said about Gilbert was wrong, very wrong. Tatiana's right don't say what you do not mean. Tatiana, you're right Peter shouldn't have said that, but if we're gonna move on for this quest you're gonna have to forgive him." Archie says. I look at Peter and sigh.
"Fine, I forgive you."
"Great- moving on... Ally what's your problem, you seem down."
"I don't know... It seems like every chance I get to be happy with a person; I lose them." Ally sighs.
"Ally you're too perfect. You want love; you want the perfect wedding, a perfect life, with the perfect family. Nothing is perfect; nobody's perfect. We're human- We're demigods, and we make mistakes. Especially when Nini killed Gilbert." Kailey turns her head towards Nini.
"Ally, the best love you're gonna get is from us." Peter pats her back.
"Thank you, you're right. I don't have to have a perfect life." She smiles.
