Out Of The Woods: Getting Lost in The Sea Of Thoughts

Mission Completed

I got out of my cell, for Ricky has "summoned" me, the guards escort to Ricky who was underground. I shove the guards' hands off of me and walk towards Ricky.

Ricky looks at me "Here's how this is gonna work, you're going to take the staff and say the spell, then the portal will open up." I took the staff and looked at it

"This spell? The one right in front of me?" I say so I can buy time.

Ricky raises an eyebrow "Obviously." I look at the staff for a few seconds but then I bring my attention to the nervous guard.

"There seems to be a break in upstairs, s-sir." says the guard.

Ricky crosses his arm "I'll see what's going on, the rest of you stay down here and make sure she does the spell." Ricky looks at the other three guards as he ran upstairs. I could hear screams and conflict all around the castle. I pick up the staff again slowly, but instead of opening the portal I use it to hit one of the guards in the head, I twirl it around and trip the other guard. The last guard knocks the staff out of my hand and takes out his knife, backing me into a corner. He lifted his hand up to stab me, but before he could Archie comes out of nowhere behind the guard, he unarms the guard and stabs him.

I sigh of relief "A little late don't you think, Archie?"

Archie rolls his eyes while replying "Your welcome." he runs upstairs, as I follow him I look at all the conflict. Tom pulls me aside and orders

"Follow me, quickly." he runs upstairs, I do as he says and meet him at a window. Where Ally and Kailey are

"Welcome back Tati." Ally says.

I cross my arms "I didn't need your help." even though I totally did.

Ally rolls her eyes "Are you going to get us out of here or what? Archie and the others can't hold them off much longer." I nod and look out the window. I spot the forest and let out a howel.

Tom "How is that going to help-" before he could finish the ground rumbles. Everyone stopped fighting and became curious at the sound. Wolves run along the castle, close enough for us to jump out of the window. I saw guards being eaten and thrown. Archie, Luke, and Nini run up to us.

Nini raised an eyebrow "Surprisingly smart move."

I look at her surprisingly "Did you just compliment me?" I ask.

Archie "Nevermind about that, we have to go now."

"You guys go, I need to open the teleporter. Ricky may be the devil himself, but these people don't deserve to be here." I say as I hop off the stair railings. I went back underground and placed the staff in my hands, I say the spell and the portal opens. Ricky came downstairs and snickered.

Ricky: "Finally freedom at last-" I didn't want to hear anything else from his mouth, so I push him in the portal. Some of the guards come running downstairs and jump into the portal. I run upstairs back to the window before I could jump out hunter pulls my arm.

"Let me come with you, we're still family whether you like it or not. I was pressured to kill Gilbert, and you know it. You know Hades would do anything to hurt you BOTH." Hunter protests.

I take a deep breathe "After this- after I get all of us out of this mysterious realm. You and I have nothing to do with each other anymore. Don't even think about coming to camp either." I say sternly. Hunter nodded; happily, I roll my eyes and give him instructions "Jump and hang on tight." I hop out the window and land on the wolf, the wolf I'm on reminds me of Petra... I turn my head and see Hunter behind me. The wolf takes me in front of a castle where I greet the others. Ally looks at hunter

"What's he doing here?" She asks

I sigh "He won't be here for very long. We're just getting him out of this realm and then we're going to act like he doesn't exist" I walk in the castle and take out my sword. I see a lady sitting on a throne.

"I've been expecting you for a while now Tatiana."

My eyes widen, and Ally says "Mrs. Rosy?! You're the one who is attempting to take over the world?"

"I would never have suspected it.." Kailey said. Rosy laughs evilly

"You fools underestimate me too much." she blasts her powers at me, I shield myself and roll to the side. Mrs. Rosy turns into a dragon and blasts fire everywhere.

Kailey ", Dragons, have a soft spot, if we find it and hit it, then she'll be powerless."

Archie "Her wing! It has a cut. If Tatiana can use her bow and arrow to hit it that will be perfect."

I nod "Okay, but I'll need a distraction so I can get close enough." Luke volunteered and ran out in the middle of the room, just a few inches away from the dragon.

Luke "Blast me if you can!" he runs dodging the fire. I put the arrow on the string of my bow, close my eyes, aim, and fired at the wing. The wing sinks into the hard red skin of the dragon and blood drops from it. Mrs. Rosy turns back to her usual self, and a portal opens.

"Wooh! Finally, out of this crazy realm, I can't-" Before Kailey finishes her sentence, Hunter pushes her and takes out his knife.

"Hunter, what are you doing!?" I clutch my bow.

"She's always been slightly annoying don't you think?" Hunter lifts his knife up. I can't let another person die, especially Kailey, I lift my boy up and put the arrow on the string, I hesitate to shoot him and before I could he stabbed Kailey.

"No!" I ran after Hunter before I could catch him he jumps into the portal. Even a bigger problem Mrs. Rosy was waking up.

"Quick! Archie help me pick her up." Ally yells. I help them drag Kailey into the portal. As soon as we were at camp, Kailey was rushed for surgery.

How could I do that? How could I let him get away? Why did I hesitate... Will she even make it?

"Ally, wow T. I can't believe you let Hunter get away with that!" Ally yelled at me.

"I don't know what came over me I hesitated.." I sigh

"At least you can say to yourself, mission completed." Ally walks off.

She was right, mission completed...
