it's okay
it's okay to go back to them
it's okay to break your promise
it's okay to love just for the sake of it

it's okay to return to their home
because it's storming in yours
it's okay to just want to be okay

do not blame yourself
for running back to
the only thing that ever made you happy
even if it broke you down even more

of course
there is foolishness
in staying with the one
whom holds your smile
as they hold your rain too

but until you learn to
find happiness within you
it is okay to artificially find it in others
for the time being
as long as you're aware
you still deserve better

i mean, that's what we're all doing here really

while i encourage every person to leave toxic relationships/friendships, it is okay to go back to them if that's the only way you've learnt how to be happy. so until u learn something else, its ok to do what you know.
