Denial
First day of school was really not amicable for me. Don't get me wrong huh, pero hindi ako introvert na tao, in fact I have a lots of friends, it's just that hindi ko lang talaga gusto ang pakulo ng mga teachers na Getting-to-know-each-other portion. I mean anong sense ng pagpapakilala sa unahan right, buti sana kung socialization ang ipinunta ko dito sa paaralan e hindi naman. Ewan!
Bored akong tumayo at naglakad papunta sa unahan para nagpakilala "Hi I'm Jade Imperial Natividad, just call me Jin"
Clifford and Kit are both my first cousins but hell no, I won't admit that stuff cause I know better than to claim that they're really my cousins .
When I was still in US marami akong kaibigan pero mostly ay boys.
"No, I don't even know them"
"But you're a Natividad right? I m-mean aren't you related to each other?" sabi pa ng isa pang barbie-bitch
"Miss, haven't you heard the word coincidence yet?"
"Of course I know that. I'm just-"
I cut her off, "Well I'm sure you did, at yun na nga coincidence as in nagkataon lang, hindi naman porke't magka-apelyido kami ay pinsan, magkapatid or we already have some sort of relationship. May I ask you miss, what is your surname?"
"Well, I'm Eloiza Vasquez, Why do you ask?
"If I told you that my surname was the same as yours "Vasquez" will you consider me as your relative or something"
"Well, no! Kasi kung Vasquez I'm sure I would easily know it kasi maaaring na-meet na kita or nakita sa family gathering namin".
"Yeah. That's right. See? sayo na mismo nanggaling yun. So, as I was saying hindi ko sila kaano-ano, nagkataon lang na magkapareho kami ng apelyido".
"But-"
Again for the second time around I cut her off "I think that's enough for my not so important introduction, I am gonna take a sit sir" sabay harap ko sa teacher namin, at tumango lamang ito.
