Nyla's P.O.V
Peering up from the letter that I have just finish read, my eyes fall on Clay's and I'm speechless.
Kain thought Clay was weak to stay in her marriage after all that had happen and I must confess that some where in side of me, I felt the same.
But now, now, I understand. I understand the strength it took to keep hope alive for someone that did not seem to understand the gravity of his own actions.
Holding in all that pain and anger of betrayal and pushing forward still hoping. That is true strength. It takes strength to hold on and strength to let go.
Walking away from all that you had known and the only one You've place your all
into for soo many years cannot be easy by any means. I can not begin to imagine the war that raged with in her.
I am not that strong and I do not think I would ever last that long in any situation like that to find out.
I reach over and wrap my arms around Clay pulling her into a tight warm hug.
"You have lived a very taxing life and u have paid many time over. Now, you can finally breath."I whisper into her ear.
I will make sure that Clay will never suffer by my hands, that I can be sure of. Clay release a long slow breath while resting her head on my shoulder. A hush falls over night, the rhythm of our hearts dances with the silence.

The television switches on and obliterate my focus. I snap my head to the television set
surprise by the sound that cut through such sweet silence and so rudely interrupting my delightful thoughts.
"Netflix remember it's Friday." Clay grin pointing the remote to the television set .
I can not help but laugh and so did she."Yessss" I hiss places emphasis on the ssss "I am dying to know who kill west!"
4 weeks later...
"Thank you mom, I am sure Clay will be pleased to hear this."I hang up the phone beaming with joy, I can hardly contain my excitement. It has been so long that my mom has been working on kyle's case, trying to get Clay to be his soul guardian.
Apparently Kyle had an Aunt on his mother's side. They had to track her down and be sure she
is ruled out before granting Clay guardianship.
Well, The aunt turned out to be unfit to raise Kyle. In fact she was even unfit to raise her own kids
due to her drug addiction. Yup, seem like it's a family thing. That is great news for Clay because that makes her
sole guardian and I just can not wait to tell her.
Starting conversation with ClayDaddy.
Yes, she will be my Daddy one day. Oh come on, a girl can dream can't she?
Start messaging ClayDaddy....
Me: Guess what?
ClayDaddy: Umm, Pink agree to kiss me on stage?
Me: -_- keep dreaming.
ClayDaddy: LOL.
Me: Your officially Kyle's sole guardian!
ClayDaddy: No shit? for real?
Me: For real, mom just called me.
ClayDaddy: Great, wow! * doing a weird victory dance*
Me: LOL, you'r so goofy.
ClayDaddy: OH hush! lol. So when can I go get him?
Me: They will bring him to you. plus you still have to get a bigger apartment.
ClayDaddy: fuck!, ur right.
Me: My offer still stands.
ClayDaddy: Alright, I really do not have any other options. Thank u Nyla I am grateful.
Me: Great! you can move in at any time.
ClayDaddy: Thank u.
Me: By the way are we on for tonight.
ClayDaddy: for?
Me: Netflix, Its Friday.
ClayDaddy: Oh shit!
Me: smiles innocently =^.^=
ClayDaddy: Don't smile at me like that. u know ain't nothing innocent about netflix nights with u.
Me: Oh? what ever do you mean? :)
ClayDaddy: -_- My place or yours?
Me:Your place. It will be our last Netflix night at that soo you
get the popcorn ready. only 2 more episodes left for season 3
and they better reveal who killed west or I am going to throw
a bitch fit and I am not playing.
ClayDaddy: LOL! Oh, I know ur not. I'll start the popcorn, call me when u pull up.
Me: Will do.
End of text message.
My intention was to end the book on this chapter but I was not quite satisfied and I had many voices screaming at me to continue. 😎Lol.
