Chpter 4: Lunch Date

So, as promised, I took Mariie out to McDonald's. And true to her word, she sittin down and eatin a Big Mac. Ain't that some shit?she shut me the hell up.

"Luck!"

I look up from my burger and laugh, cuz she got Mac Sauce all over her cheek, and she tryna wipe it of without me noticing.

"Want some help?"

"Fuck you." She laughs and grabs a napkin. "I told you I was hungry, and you didn't believe me. So there."

I laugh too. "We can fuck anywhere, anytime shordy. And I didn't say I didn't believe you when you said you was hungry, I was just finna buy you some chicken nuggets."

"Luck don't mf play wit me, cuz I'll take you home and put yo big ass straight to sleep. And why you think imma get full off of some damn chicken nuggets? Do I look lke a damn kid to you?"

"The exact opposite. And if we bein real, I wasn't in the mood to eat no damn burger."

She smirks. "Sooooo.......what was you tryna eat then?"

I duck my head, suddenly hella shy. "Man, you know what I'm tryna eat. Stop joshin."

To my surprise, Mariie gets up, throws away her trash(since she ate her burger AND a large fry) and comes over to stand next to me. She moves my hair, which I was wearin down toay, and speaks low in my ear. " I wanted you to eat somethin more than a burger too, but you gotta speak up, ma. Closed mouths don't get fed."

My eyes got wide as hell,and I looked at Mariie to make sure I heard her correctly.

"And before you ask, I ain't never done this before. But it' somethin about you, Luck.  I feel like I can do this with you. So, we either go back to school, or you take me to yo house and gimme some work, cuz I need it right about now."

She laughs to herself, and walks out to the car after popping a piece of gum in her mouth. "Make ya choice!"

Do I REALLY gotta tell you what choice I made?
