soonyoung groaned and rolled over onto his side, his head pounding and his eyes swollen due to his night with chan. the two stayed up most of the night doing whatever they felt like and soonyoung was feeling the consequences. he sighed as he sat up, reaching for his phone and almost choking as he checked the time.
he was late. and not by a few minutes, it was almost 2.30 and soonyoung was supposed to be there at noon. the redhead jumped out of bed quickly throwing on some clothes and combing through his hair, a string of endless curse words falling out of his mouth.
in 5 minutes the redhead was finished, grabbing his badge and keys he rushed out of the front door. thankfully he owned a car, even though he barely used it and he thanked his parents for convincing him to take it. he hoped in the vehicle starting it and swerving into the road.
practically speeding he reached the restaurant in under 3 minutes, quickly pulling in and continuing to curse until he entered the building and rushing to the main desk. "i am so sorry im late-" his boss cut him off bt holding up her hand and soonyoung froze, dread filling his body. "your friend explained soonyoung dont worry. just dont be this late again"
soonyoung furrowed his brows but nodded regardless wondering just what chan had told cheayoung and he started to look for him. instead of finding who he was looking for, his eyes were drawn towards a certain brunette sitting at his table in the corner sipping on a water.
a smile made its way onto soonyoungs face and he switched directions, walking over to jihoon. the brunette glanced upwards, grinning when he saw soonyoung and waved at him, waiting for the redhead to make his way over. "wheres chan?" he asked and jihoon rolled his eyes.
"hes not here remember. todays his day off, at least that's what you told me" soonyoungs eyes widened and he face palmed, completely forgetting that chan had Thursdays off and mentally scolded himself. "wait… then who told cheayoung?"
the brunette grinned and pointed at himself causing soonyoungs smile to return and ruffled the youngers hair. after a glare and a few moments fixing his now messy hair jihoon sipped his water again. "your welcome" "thank you ji" soonyoung finished off their conversation with the brunettes order and quickly got to work, wondering what exactly the younger had told his boss.
a few hours later the two boys were sitting on a bench in the park, snacking on a bag of chips and arguing over which movie they should watch. the current choices were a horror movie that jihoon had seen in an ad, and an animated film. "soonyoung~" the brunette whined, trying to convince the other to go
"jihoon i dont like horror" the redhead pushed his lower lip out even though he knew he tries were pointless. the puppy whining argument had gone on for a good fifteen minutes and soonyoung was about to give in, seeing as both movies would be starting in half an hour.
jihoon sighed before he stood up, grabbing soonyoungs wrist and pulling him up with him. "fine we'll watch the animation" soonyoung frowned for a moment before he registered what was said and a grin over took his features. "really!?" jihoon looked over at the redhead, his eyesmile appearing again. jihoon smiled at the older, nodding quickly and pulling the smiley boy behind him.
