"soonyoung?" the redhead glanced up at jihoon, who was currently sliding a large red jacket over his slim body, his phone resting in the back of his jeans pocket and his keys in his hand. "im heading to the store okay?" soonyoung nodded and lifted his head up slightly. "dont take too long ji"
jihoon nodded before he pulled the front door open and stepped out into the chilly air. soonyoung had managed to catch a cold, so he was forced to stay home and in bed so he could better, so the brunette took it upon himself to care for the boy. thankfully for the younger, he didnt mind being cared for, at least not by himself.
most days soonyoung would complain anytime someone did something for him or got him something, making him verh difficult to spoil and care for, and often irritated some of his closer friends. jihoon didnt mind, even though hed love to shower the older with gifts and candies he respected the fact that it made him uncomfortable, so instead he complimented him.
yet recently soonyoung hadnt complained about the amount of affection the brunette was giving him, from sweaters to food jihoon had been spoiling the older, and he hadnt said a word about it. in a way the younger was worried that soonyoung was too kind to tell him to stop, but he also noticed how happy the redhead would get when jihoon handed him something.
jihoon decided that until the older told him to stop, he was going to spoil the older. he was also very difficult to take care of, seeing as he was generally independent and very active. soonyoung absolutely hated being babied, especially when he was sick or injured, so more often than not hed take care of himself.
but not this time. jihoon had forced the older to stay in bed, mentioning that they couldnt cuddle if he was ill and the olders face turned as red as his hair, but he stopped fighting him. after a short discussion about what soonyoung wanted to eat for his lunch, and a lot of protesting from the redhead, jihoon finally got an answer and was on his way.
the store was quiet, and very warm, so jihoon had very little difficulty finding what he needed. the older had decided on a simple chicken soup with some crackers and sprite (sprite is the shit fam) and jihoon taken it upon himself to get the older another blanket and a simple black sweater. after purchasing his items, and having a quick conversation with hansol who was also there, jihoon headed back out into the cold.
the wind had picked up, making it even colder than before and the brunette cursed himself for not bringing a heavier jacket. soonyoung had offered him the car, but he refused, walking was easier and hed have more time to think. speaking of thinking (woah) jihoon quickly pulled out his phone and sent a message to seungcheol.

the brunette slid his phone into his back pocket, pushing the front door open and kicking off his shoes, wandering inside. "ji?" jihoon smiled as he walked into the olders bedroom, bowing slightly as he entered and pulling the blanet and sweater out of the bag.
"ji" the younger shushed him, pressing his finger gently over his lips, before he pulled soonyoungs current sweater over his head. after sliding the black one on jihoon smiled, giggling at the redhead as he blushed again, glancing downwards. the younger proceeded to pull the sick boy upwards, guiding him to the main room before he sat him down.
"im gonna get you food ready okay?" the older nodded and reached for the remote, turning the tv on and switching to netflix. a few moments later jihoon could hear the theme for another drama soonyoung was obsessed with, and his phone chimed softly.
quickly drying his hands, the blonde brought the food to soonyoung, the older giving him a smile before he started eating. jihoon glanced down at his phone screen, sighing in disappointment before he locked it, and sat down next to the redhead, wrapping him in his new blanket and focusing on the drama.
i rewrote this because it was so short and so basic. it just wasnt up to my standards, so heres a much better, much more detailed version. i might take a short break from this story, just to focus on finishing up rejected without any interruptions but im not quite sure yet
