^(Far Out - New Beginning)^

Lightiplier x reader

Hey guys, sorry for not updating earlier! Here's an extra long chapter to make up for it!

3rd person's POV:

It was just a normal day. Everyone was doing their normal jobs. Working hard. Being happy. So did the 19 years old (y/n). She was a hardworking and smart farm girl. She ran with her simple brown cloak, and black clothes underneath, to the market in the village to buy some bread for her and her mother. What she didn't know was that her whole life was about to be thrown upside-down.

She passed tons of people and stands. Now and then a few people waved at her and wished her a good day. When she reached the bakery she still had a smile on her face.

"Ah, (y/n)! It's good to see you again! The usual?" the baker asked. She nodded, waiting in front of the stand patiently with her bag in her hand.

"How is the family, Brad?" She asked him as he grabbed a few fresh loaves out of the oven. He put them in a bag and handed it to her.

"My wife is expecting another child!" Brad told her proudly. (y/n) smiled with delight and handed him the coins for the bread. He pushed her hands back, not taking her money.

"It's on the house," he told her and smiled as well.

"Thanks, Brad! And congratulations!" she said before turning around. She went home but took a long route. The route was full of beautiful houses and trees and even a little stream. (y/n) always found it beautiful to walk past there.

She took a turn to the right where a tree stood. The tree had grown on top of a rock, a phenomenon (y/n) always found special. 'Life always finds a way' her father always told her when she was little. She had a close relationship with the tree. It was one of the only things that reminded her of her father after he had disappeared.

She passed it and walked along the creek that streamed through the city. Beautiful flowers grew next to it. (y/n) bent down to pick one up and smelled its wonderful scent. When she stood back up she kept it in her hand, planning on giving it to her mother.

But suddenly she dropped it when she saw a man sitting in a dark alley. A small pool of dark blood lay around him. She rushed to his side worried.

"Are you okay? What happened?" she asked as she inspected the man's wounds. He had a large gash on his side and one on his chest. His white shirt was ripped at those spots and soaked with blood. He tried to push her away but coughed. His whole body shook with the effort.

"P-please ... Go!" he rasped weakly. But (y/n) didn't listen. Instead, she ripped a piece off her cloak. She held it on the cut on his side. At first he groaned and wanted to push her away again. But then the man sighed, giving up and letting her help.

"Why are you helping me?" he asked her a bit rude. She looked at him. He had chocolate brown eyes and white dyed hair. He also had a bit of facial hair.

"Excuse me sir, but you seemed to be dying! I couldn't just stand there or walk away like that!" (y/n) scoffed. She continued to take care of his wounds until he was completely patched up.
