Leo just saw his very demise before him. His own plan had come too soon. He shouldn't have thought of this. Why did he think of this? How would this help me?

He knew why he thought of this. He thought she could help him. But now that she had seen something huge he'd been hiding......

Jamie and Trevor were still at the beginning of the track, talking about something Leo didn't have time for. He had time.

Leo ran as fast as he could, whistling softly for Rocky to follow, her paw quickly hitting the red button and closing the trap door. The two of them threw open the door, rushed into the house and ran as fast as they could through different doors and rooms until they got to the living room. They ran up the stairs moving a few doors down to Leo's room. Leo threw open the door and dropped onto the ground, rolling under his bed. In the little bit of light that came from the ceiling fan light, he flipped a small switch in the middle of two other switches beneath the oaken wood that had a wire connecting to the wall adjacent to the bed. He rolled back out of beneath the bed just as a small part of the wall opened up.

He and Rocky walked through the open passage as Leo hit the red button to close the wall back up. He sighed, reluctantly, realizing what he had to explain. His mind kept telling him: "She'll judge me. There's no way she'll believe me. She will hate me if she finds out what I did."

Those thoughts didn't help him as his mind was grasping to find the right words to tell her. To explain what the place she was in. Why he made it.

Finally, he and Rocky made it down the long stairs with torches hanging from the walls to give the two light. Leo ran down the hall, Rocky taking her time with a small bound. He smashed his hand down on a green button, opening up two batwing doors into a dark room. The lights started to flash on from the ceiling.

The room was relatively big with a library on half, lines of books on shelves accompanied him, with wall-to-wall bookshelves, then on the other half of the room was full of tables laid beside huge tubes. Every table had a specific set of flasks and smaller tubes on top of it. The bigger tubes beside the table had controls on the bottom. Of course, there were also things in the tube. Each tube had a different creature. Most creatures Leo had seen many times before. One had large jaws and walked on four legs with black skin and dark red eyes. It was the same kind of death hound that attacked the trio last night.

There was another tube that held a figure that seemed to outline a human, but the evil black skin and pale white eyes said otherwise. The second he saw Leo, the creature burst into a million black pieces, stretching out to attack him, but the glass barrier was stopping the demon from reaching his goal. When the black pieces touched the glass, they retreated back to create and the shape of the figure once again. He almost seemed blurry to look at cause his skin was always moving.

Leo always flinched whenever he witnessed this kind of creature explode. This time he didn't. He wasn't focused enough to realize that the creature even exploded.

Leo winded in and out of the maze of tubes on the left side of the room, finally finding a clearing where a cushion sat under a steel hatch that had coincidentally opened up right below the hatch, dropping a girl onto the cushion. Amelia sat on the cushion, crying her eyes out.

"Um.....Amelia?' Leo said, lightly.

Amelia looked up to see the light and Leo, then jumped into his arms with tears in her eyes, barreling her face into his chest. "It......It was so dark and I-I.....I couldn't handle it."

Leo's realization hit him quick. "I am so sorry. I didn't know that you had a fear of the dark. I didn't mean to scare you."

Amelia took a shaky breath and ended the embrace, wiping her eyes with her arm. They were red and still full of tears by the time she was done wiping. "It's fine. It's not like it's your fault." She looked around the room, finally realizing there were creatures in the huge tubes she'd only seen outlines of in the dark. "Whoa!" She exclaimed, slowly backing away. "Leo......what is this place?!"
