Earlier in the morning...
"Get the pack, we have business to deal with," An Alpha growl into her cell as she left the room. "I don't care what time it is, get them all," she said as she hung up.
Within an hour the Alpha walked into the McKillens Pack House to see her pack was waiting for her. Alex her second stood waiting at the front entrance. He always did that knowing as her second he got privileged information first and foremost.
"Oh yes, that's my Alpha I know and love!" He grinned at her and nodded his agreement. "Also there is a problem with Kimie," he added.
"What the bitch do now?" The Alpha was not her biggest fan on good days, now after her stunt last night she was about to lay a smack down on her if she crossed her now.
"Well, she left a hurt boy at the party and gave herself away... well till I had Ben take care of the boy, he was very drunk so he won't remember much now," Alex said
"Did you make sure Ben was taken care of for his troubles?" She asked.
"He was paid very nicely and I'm sure that having a pack of werewolf very happy with you always makes alone Mind Mystic feel good." He said.
"And this is why I have you as my second Alex, you know what I want without needing to ask." the Alpha said and smiled at him. "Is that all?"
"Oh! And, she smells of Ash," Alex said, "When she crawled in here lookin' like she had not slept one moment all night." He said.
"Ummm, I see, Ash you say?" The Alpha looked around and then looked at Alex and he smiles down at her.
"Yes." He took a whiff of her.
They joined the rest of the pack in the main living room. Most of them still had sleep in their eyes and other looked of the night before.
"Last night one of mine was attacked by a Vampire, I want each and everyone on high alert, I won't stand for this." As she spoke her eyes were on Kimie watching her closely. "I will be having roaming patrols over the school grounds till this has passed, so be ready to do some extra watches," she told them and everyone nodded their understanding. "Now, get out of here, Kimie stay." Everyone could smell the Ash all over her. So no one was surprised by the Alpha asking her to stick around.
Once it was just them Kimie fell to her knees before her Alpha and pressed her face to the floor. "Why do you test me, Kimie?" She asked as she walked around the woman who was not prostrating herself before her. "You know Alex cleaned up after your little game last night. Do you know what I should be doing to you?" she asked her voice cold.
"No, please I'll do anything but to be exiled," Kimie begged with tears in her eyes.
"No, try the pain stone," The Alpha said.
"Noooo please, don't bleed me," she cried as new tears fell down her cheeks. "I have no one who would save me, I could die." she hit her head on the floor. "Please, I'll do anything." she was about to go into a panic attack.
The Alpha knelt down and grabbed her before she could hit her head once more. "Shh, I'll be the one saving you Kimie, I don't hate you... just not happy with you," she said as she sat on the floor. "Come now, just do as I say and we'll be cool," she said as she rubbed her back.
"Kimie, I will not do anything to punish you, but you'll need to help me, be my eyes, I feel things are not going to be as easy as they have been, we might be going to war soon, so I need you." The Alpha said as she held her pack member and rubbed her back.
"Ok," Kimie said as she sat up. "I'm sorry, but I miss you," she said softly.
The Alpha sighed and looked at Kimie. "Kimie, we have gone over this before, If I took you as a mate then you would be forced to be at my side for life and you know my heart belongs to someone else, so I would not do that to you." She said in her own soft tone. "I have my own feelings for you, you're dear to me. Will you be my eyes and ears and help me?" she asked her pack member.
