While thinking of a plan to save what was left of Alexandria, Glenn Enid and I searched the church thoroughly for supplies to rescue Maggie from the lookout tower. Enid was still acting sour and refusing to talk to either of us. I gave Glenn an exasperated smile and encouraged him to talk to her. He has a better way with words than I do.

"Look Enid. You don't have to like me or anyone here but we're trying to help you and we need your help." He sighed. "I've lost people, good people. They were huge influences in my life and I wouldn't be who I am or still alive if it wasn't for them."

"Like who?" She grumbled.

"A man named Dale, Maggie's father Hershel, A women called Andrea, A man called Tyreese and Lexi's Girlfriend Charlie." He told her. "They all had an impact on my life and I wouldn't like to think about what would have happened if I didn't know those people." He said.

Enid turned to me with sympathy in her eyes. I didn't want anyone's sympathy. "I'm sorry." She whispered. "I know what it's like to lose people. I lost my family to the zombies before I found this place. I've never really trusted anyone but them so it's hard to go from that to this." Enid explained and my heart went out to her. Poor child had witnessed her own parents die. That's got to play on the conscious.

"They're still here because you're still here." I told her with a small smile and squeezed her shoulder in affection.

"Now, you stay here and I'll go get Maggie before coming back for you." Glenn ordered Enid and me.

"I'm not staying here. I'm helping." I refused.

"Me too." Enid agreed.

"Can't you two  just not be so stubborn? We don't need to all go out there." Glenn groaned.

"If we don't all go out there, you could get killed and that would be our fault for not being there too." I told him folding my arms across his chest.

"We'd feel guilty for the rest of our lives." Enid injected. We both gave him a pout and he sighed.

"Okay fine. Let's just find something to help us get Maggie down.  We don't have any weapons." He said and I smiled.

"Then let's find some weapons and save Maggie from those flesh eating Bastards." I clapped my hands together and we went off in search of weapons we could use.

I found a fun inside a box by the altar and some cloths that can be tied together and help Maggie climb from the watch tower.

"I found something."I told them showing them the items.

"That's great. Let's go get Maggie down." Glenn said and clapped his hands together.

"We'll go help Maggie get down and you try to get the walkers away. But be careful you don't get too close." I told him and he thought about it before giving me a single nod.

"Sounds good." He said and we headed out. Enid and I tied the cloth together and climbed onto the watch tower undetected.  We helped stabilise Maggie and the tower as it became wobbly.

"Lets get you down." I whispered to her touching her gently.

But Maggie wasn't interested, she was watching Glenn as he made noise and drew most of them away. As he became overrun by a group of them Maggie yelled out his name through sobs.

"It's okay, he's going to be fine. He always will be." I told her and before I knew what was happening, Sasha and Abraham appeared with rifles shooting those around Glenn. I looked at them in surprise.

Glenn jumped into the truck where Daryl was driving and they drove away. With Enids help, we managed to get Maggie down safely.

The three of if fight against the walkers as Daryl dumps fuel into a pond in the middle of Alexandria before launching a RPG into the water.

The explosion distracts the walker as they hobble towards the fire. The entire community keep fighting and keep killing those that wasn't killed my the fire.

I was full of adrenaline that night and didn't even remember falling asleep. all I remembered was waking up the next morning with walker corpses littered on the street. We had reclaimed the community, we could keep on living.

The only change was Enid was now sharing the house with us. We trusted her. She trusted us.
