Sophia POV

"There is no way I'm doing that!" I say to Chino as he touches random things in my room. He picks up something from the dresser and turns toward me.

"Every time I time I give you a new job to work you say that you're not going to do it and you always do. Let's not beat around the bush, love." He smiles as he puts the brush he picked up in a different place. He does this every time.

I groan, "you make it sound like we are in a gang." I grumble.

"What happen to prostitutes? Are we a gang of prostitutes?" He laughs happily. I smile and roll my eyes. I've been her a long time since my very first job and I have grown accustomed to the goof of a leader.

"So, tell me what to do again." I say as I pull on my converse and a bomber jacket.

"Dying your hair and changing your look. We have to go somewhere where you might be recognized and I don't want them seeing you. Recognizing you." He says as he grabs my hand and leads me out of the place.

Chino doesn't let me socialize with anyone but him because of my persuasive ways. In the first month I was here I persuaded one of the guys into giving me the keys to get out. Chino found me just as I made my way to the stairs.

...

Three hours later I look in the mirror at a woman that I don't recognize. This girl has blonde hair, she is the same length as me, but she is prettier. So much prettier. I don't recognize myself. She looks to be at least twenty with her lips painted dark red and bright blue eyes.

"Well?" He asks. He comes up behind me and puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Is that really me?" I ask dumbly.

"Yes, doll face, it is." He smiles, his bright white teeth glowing.

"Wow." I breathe. She looks so beautiful.

"Your expression is priceless and as much as I'd love to enjoy it, as have some things to do!" He grabs my, blind folding me and leading me out to the car. He zaps my collar that looks like a necklace once for a warning. Pretty much saying that I better not try a thing.

When we arrive at the party he hands me baggies of white powder. "Give 'em out." Chino smirks and waltz's off.

I sigh and walk around. I smell a familiar scent, it's an I intoxicating scent that I haven't smelt in forever. I follow my nose. I follow it to a guy who has his back turned to me.

"Kemo?" I half whisper. His head whips around until he is faced to me.

"Sophia?" His eyes widen and starts toward me. "Angel..." He whispers, he touches my hair and runs his fingers across my cheek bone.

"You have to get out before Chino sees you!" I start pushing him toward the back exit.

"I'm not leaving you." He says. He looks at the necklace around my neck and sighs. "You're on a shock collar? Thought Chino would have more class." He breaks the necklace off and takes my hand.

We run out into the back and down the road. I drop the drugs so I can run faster. We run up to an SUV and hop in. Kemo starts speeding off. His hands are shaking as he presses the gas as hard as it will go.

I put my hand on his and run circles on his shaking hand with my thumb. Tears well in my eyes because we are together now. I've been dreaming about this day.

"It's okay, angel. It's okay." He squeezes my hand. He grabs his phone and dials someone's number. "I found her! What do I do now?" The other line speaks for awhile and then he hangs up. He drives a little longer until we reach an empty parking lot. "Undress. Everything. All your rings, clothes, accessories. Everything. Put my shirt on when you're done, be quick." Kemo hands me his shirt and I hop out of the car.

I take off every article of clothing and every piercing I have. I throw my hair hand out, and my socks and shoes. Now I stand completely naked as I slide on Kemo's shirt.

I hurry into the car, right when I get the door shut, Kemo is already speeding off. His hand finds mine, tears prick his eyes as he drives. I have never seen him cry before, but I think I'm about to.

"Angel," He murmurs. I lean across the console and hug his bicep. I unbuckle my seatbelt and climb over to get on his lap. One arm wraps around me while the other stays on the wheel. "Angel, I was going crazy without you." He kisses my head.

After a thirty minuet drive we pull up the warehouse. The gates close around he and Kemo nods his head at Gus. Kemo grabs my and wraps my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He runs inside and bypasses everyone else.

He brings us into the bathroom and sits me on the counter. "I need you to check yourself for bugs."

"Like lice? Kemo, I don't—"

"No, like listening devices. You need to check everywhere. And I mean everywhere." He says looking my in the eyes. I blush and nod my head. "Call me in when you're done." He says and walks out of the bathroom.

I check everywhere like he said. "Kemo, I'm done." I call. He walks in and shoots me a smile. He lays a pile of clothes next to me and then opens my mouth. He sticks his fingers along my teeth until it hits something sensitive. I grip his wrist trying to tell him it hurts.

"This is going to hurt." He says.

"What? Are you—OW!" I scream. He has a tiny little device in his hands. It had my blood on it. He drops it on the ground and crushed it underneath his foot. He picks it up and shoves it in his pocket.

"Take a shower, relax. I'll go tell everyone not to overwhelm you." He smiles softly. I reach for his arm and pull him to me. He stands in my open legs and looks down at me.

"I missed you." I whisper.

"I missed you too." I press a kiss against his lips. I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him. "I missed you so much, angel." He whispers.
